Art Work / Re: I was drawing some pokemon...

I think the hands and hair on the anime styled ones are well done. They are rather complex, and coming from someone who has taken (and failed) at art,  I know how hard they can be to manage. For the Pokemon, I think they are all well done. I really like Registeel and Raikou. Though, as Jerry said, I think Scizor is too skinny.

He is a bulky Pokemon by nature, due to typing and stats. So, to me, it just looks a bit odd to have him that skinny. Otherwise, I think you actually improved upon your first posts.

Not "always", my good man. ;)

I used "always" in terms of the competitive environment. Outside of that, or in-game, any move can be effective if used right. So, it's completely up to opinion on which one is used.

From a competitive standpoint, however, Earthquake is always a better choice.

General Chat / Re: Best Steel Pokemon
« on: August 31, 2010, 06:32:57 AM »
Oh, also, it's the only non-legendary steel-type Pokémon so far.

There are only five Legendary Steel Pokemon in the games: Registeel, Jirachi, Dialga, Heatran, and Arceus holding a Steel Plate. The rest are not Legendary.

Am I the only one that is constantly reminded of Pokemon Stadium minigames?
And for that matter, why didn't Pokemon: Revolution have minigames? That game could have been so much better!

That is the sole reason I commented in the thread in the first place. It sounded so much like Pokemon Stadium that I had a veritable nerdgasm all over the site.

Earthquake is always chosen for consistency. It's always going to have 100 BP (150 with STAB involved) while Magnitude's will vary.

I am not having an issue with either topics or my profile. It would probably help a bit if you elaborated on some things: like browser, etc.

Thread locked as previously stated. If someone wants to make a thread comparing the points of previous sprites and new ones - ("I prefer the RBY sprites to the new ones; they felt more alive.") then go ahead, but I'll monitor it as well.

This is my desktop as of right now. I'm still working on it, trying to get back what I had before I switched over to my new laptop. I'll probably change it countless times as my mood sets in, but I like where it's at right now.

Theorymon is a combination of the words "Theory" and "Pokemon" to denote anything that is purely speculative. Basically, anything that we discuss without actually putting to the test (Read: putting it in the game and playing it) is pure theorymon.
