3RD PLACEChaoticXSinZ http://pokemon-universe.com/index.php?action=profile;u=4976ChaoticXSinZ entered a quest about a village called Yonma, and a Lake called "Fukakimi Lake" (Fukashiki [ ?]) and eerie (Bukimi [ ]). Very cool! Congratulations ChaoticXsinZ, You have won your contest being inserted into the game. I don't know yet where, or when, or what details will need to be slightly modified for playability, but we can figure that all out later! 2ND PLACEDeclan_23 http://pokemon-universe.com/index.php?action=profile;u=132Declan_23, come on down, you're the next contestant on the Price is Right!. This contest was a very cool story about an organization called NERD, it was made up of all the members of the PU team (National Eevee Research Department), and gave us a little insight, if not more confusion into the evolutionary abilities of that adorable little creature. Congratulations Declan_23, your quest will be put into the game; too cool eh? 1ST PLACEJerry http://pokemon-universe.com/index.php?action=profile;u=4033Jerry, who is probably best known for attempting to trump Mr_Dark's post count, earned himself 1st place, for his chain quest about a guy named Byron. I don't wan't to go into too much detail on this one, cause it is pretty cool. Congratulations, Jerry, you too have earned your contest a place in the glory that is Pokemon-Universe. Now, you may recall that I stated the 1st, and 2nd place winners would also get on pre-beta, you may also notice, that all three of our winners are already lined up for pre-beta, so what do I do? Well, I'll tell you, both Jerry, and Declan_23 will also !#@%%^$@&*%^$$#&*%%()*&%*$$#@%$$*%$#$*&^%&$^#%$#$*%^*$#$%*^%*&%*%$
...hmm... I guess I can't tell you that yet, but you will see soon enough (hopefully around pre-beta release),.
Alright, you wanna know? They will both be featured in the first part of the PU webcomic, when it finally releases http://pokemon-universe.com/index.php/topic,788.msg9779.html#msg9779 There is also the matter of the mystery prize for Jerry, well....I figure I'm going to keep that one a secret until around pre-beta release as well, but it is uber awesome to say the least. Now, I command all forum members to go to each of these three guys' pages and spam them with PM's for the next 24 hours, so every time they click a link on the site, they get a little pop up telling them they have like 20 new messages. GO! GO NOW! And congratulations again, to Jerry, Declan_23, and ChaoticXsinZ

So, the contest ended (about a week ago), and yes, winners have been chosen! If you don't know what I'm talking about go here http://pokemon-universe.com/index.php?topic=542.0I won't tie you down with boring chatter, so lets get straight to the announcement!

Alright, last day of the contest.
I will be accepting entries for approximately 24 hours; remember, I will be probably be generous if you're a little late (you should thank time zones for that), but if you enter after the 24 hours and I do not accept your entry, you have only yourself to blame.
Also, as this is the last day, I will be accepting as many last minute submissions as you have. That means, if you haven't entered yet, you can still do so, and enter all five at once (if you can write that many today), but try not to sacrifice quality for quantity; you can only win once.
Lastly, as I am sure everyone is curious when I will announce the winners, I suppose I shall tell you when that will be. ...But I have no idea. I will be reading them and re-reading them all week, so expect an answer sometime next week.

Any quest that raised your eyebrows yet?
I've said it before, and I will say it again....I am not disclosing any information regarding what I am thinking about any of the quests until the end of the contest.

fun is great, but i was reading the posts, and it sounded like people were deliberately trying to ruin the story, or run it exclusively in their own way. if you want to make a drastic change, or make things realistic, do it, but the whole thing had fallen apart, and no direction was in sight.

Alright, just a heads up that the contest closes in a little over two days. Please enter any last minute submissions you have.
If you have not entered yet, please get on that, so we can have as many different people's ideas as possible.
I want to encourage everyone (especially those who have not already been chosen for pre-beta) to write their quests and submit them to me a.s.a.p.
At the time of me posting this, you have 57 hours remaining

Suddenly, spirit walks in, holds a magic staff high in the air, and exclaims: "What has happened here? For all your stupidities, I shall now end this world, and bring us into a new, parallel, universe, where people actually write at least half decently!"
THE END
Sorry, the last like 10 (or something) comments just got on my nerves way too much, and believe me, if something is seriously bugging me enough to do this, it is definitely no good!
Ok, time for story number three, and let's try to keep it from turning out like this one shall we?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zoe was laying on her bed, embracing the soft pokeball sheets, and staring at her clock on the wall, waiting for the time when she would be able to go out and meet with her friend teddiursa in the forest behind her house.

okay, I have 2 points 1. will you have to give all the poor people the special or just one (pedantic I know) 2. I had trouble understanding this section
the patrons will tell you that they don’t have any money to give you, but for your graciousness, they will give you a key card to their base. So is this something you don't want to reveal, or is it taken for granted that all poor people who go to restaurants have secret bases?
1. You will only have to give the special to one person 2. You are a smart and sneaky one aren't you? Yes, there is more to this whole quest than meets the eye. Even if you could see all the censored parts, you would still not have the depth that I would like to implement into this story. This is just one (or two) of many quests. They don't call me the story writer for nothing, if all I did was write one quest, then I would be a quest writer, but I'm not, many of the quests and stories I write are interconnected somehow....but that's for me to know, and you to find out.

I like the idea of re playable quest, so you can go back and do it over, but couldn't Chef's Special be replaced by a super potion or the food you buy at the restaurant, so going back would be discouraged except for experience. But it sounds fun.
I think this (bolded) is the purpose of not giving super potions or food you buy. Players should not abuse of the quest, and that way, experienced players won't get too much benefit of doing the quest again and again.
Bingo! I didn't want people with no life to keep doing this quest to get unlimited free super potions and distribute them around the game.

Hmmm....I don't know how to respond to this.
I think I saw a spelling error or two, but that doesn't matter.
Ummmm.....Oh, I know what I can say about it
Haha, Pidgey, I love it. None of your normal pokemon sugar-sweetness or bad guys = evil. I normally can't read pokemon fan fiction because it's full of suffocatingly innocent trainers who are all so unforgivably nice. You should keep writing this! I was really disappointed when it ended.
