In MW3...You can still get shot while behind the wall, also....MW3  is a game i have.

But, does the engine allow for an entire building to be brought down on your head.  In online play.  If it's hit by a tank/air strike/or something of the sort.

I'll just say it once.  Battlefield 3 is was better.  It has a stronger engine. 

Ex:  In MW3 if you take cover behind a wall, you're pretty much safe.  In Battlefield 3, that wall can be blow to bits by a grenade.

In normal Pokemon, there are 3 basic contributions to stats:

Base Stats: Stats unique to each species of Pokemon (example Infernape != Blastoise)
IVs: Randomised on capture/hatch (0-31 range)
EVs: Gained as you battle (0-63 stat range)

We changed them as such

Base Stats: We have manually altered these for most Pokemon to make each of them good in battle, so Delibird, Sudowoodo, and Blastoise will all be useful.

IVs: Instead of being Random from 0-31 range, they are random in 15-31 Range. This means you're less likely to need to breed/capture hundreds of Pokemon for good stats (/have pokemon ruined by bad stats) - but if you do want to put in the effort, that will still help.

EVs: They will contribute the same amount, but rather than being gained by beating certain types of Pokemon, you will be able to distribute them as you wish as you level (somehow, still working it out).
This means you can train Pokemon competitively as you play, rather than having to reset them at Max level (because you couldn't control what you were battling) and respec.

That should be about it ^_^

Thanks, and huzzah!  We can distribute (If it works out) the EV's.  It's something I think I touched on in another post/topic somewhere.  But, I think that's a huge step in the right direction.

Yeah, I don't care if the levels and everything get erased.  I just wanna check out the work the dev's have been doing.

And in regards to that post on the main page.  I'm with you on skyrim.

L5P gave us an explanation. He can correct me if I'm wrong (and maliciously if he so wishes), but it works the same as any game, except you decide the EV distribution instead of it being random, with a system that allows you to change the stats (again, correct me if I'm wrong).

If this is correct then the early game will be interesting.  Pokemon will be hard to predict when they are lvl 50ish.  You might be used to seeing a pokemon one way.  (Because on the sims it's mostly lvl 100s.) And receive quite the shock when that's not true.  Ex, you think your infernape should be faster than a blaze blaziken.  But, because you didn't invest enough Evs in Speed yet.  He's not, and you get raped by an E-Quake.  It could make for interesting early gameplay.  Especially in PVP.

Oh, and genbor.  We of the EE tend to look past type advantages.  (What do you mean my entire team is weak to water...?) 

Just get a Rotom to do it.

Man rotom would be the most convenient fridge ever.  Having a nice day at the park, travel lighter with Rotom fridge model.  Open up that pokeball and let him out.  Grab a cold beer and sandwhich, thank rotom, then put him back in his pokeball.  Man, my rotom would hate me. 

It's not that I don't think it's broken, it's that I can't see where you think it's broken. What do you think should happen in your example? It could be that I'm to close to the problem to see it.

We both seem to think that if Hippowdon has a sandstorm up then another pokemon like Ninetales is switched in the weather should be sun.  It shouldn't revert at all.  It should be based on the newest pokemon brought into the game.  Speed should only matter if they switched in at the same time.

This way people can counter weather with their own.
