Mantine has good special defense and can take quite some hits (and with Water absorb, it lasts even longer in a water team or with swift swim, its speed can become handy) while landing decent damage but is more special attack wise. Gyarados on the other hand is more attack wise and defense.

I like both of them... but it's up to you. If you feel you have too many special attackers, Gyarados is the way to go, otherwise, I'd choose Mantine.
actually if i do have a training flaw its that i do really soley on speacial insted of physical attacks....but i am trying new things this time thats y i got aerodactyl and scyther two poke i never use. for my water type i do want someone who can take hits and use aqua ring thats kinda y i chose mantine but i've been watching battles on youtube and they arent surviving any hits.... so its got me kinda afraid. ya know

Yes, it is. Get an electrode use Discharge on first turn (Speed 416). This will inflict damage on Charizard ( x 3 Damage due to stab + weakness) and Electivire speed will go up one level, enough to deliver a move before Charizard and Charizard gets one turn KO.
where u messed up...

1 y would someone use a charizard on an electric team in the begining?...
2 didn't i say idc...
3 i would start with aerodactyl...and wipe out ur whole team of electric...
4 electrode don't learn discharge...

hmmm... but ur right ...this could be done using jolteon....hmmm thanks!!!!

if yall consider 317 fast i feel for u fast to me is 330 and up i dn't even consider a charizard fast.... but idc no more tired of arguing

and the eevee evos arnt all bad  vaporeon can be a nice tank and jolteon is hands down the greatest electric type ever created and the ultimate team which i havent been able to prove it yet but i will is a espeon and umbreon...still idc tired of arguing we'll just all have to do our best to make a team and use them the best we know how to good luckerybody :)

Well, you did not research good enough. Electivire can learn Ice Punch which can be a threat to the one and only type to which electric pokemon are weak, ground. Lanturn can learn ice and water-types moves. Electric type pokemon can learn steel moves and fighting moves (some of them) to match rock type pokemon (which are often dual type with ground) and you have other moves that are not necessarily strong on ground, but which will do quite some damage.

Add good moves with good strategy, and you'll be able to match a ground pokemon.
and u forget that electivre and lanturn electric or not are slow and would be ko'd before they could attack.....let me be more clear the fast electric types don't learn the moves that can hurt ground types or the slow electrics wont survive one earthquake

and magnet rise is useless unless it comes from electrode cuz all the rest would be ko'd b4 they use it they are too sloooooow with not enough def/ spcl def

everytype has a way to fight off its weaknesses except electric... but anyway thats all i was saying and rock types are never trully a problem for bug pokemon cuz they usually have no spcl def... so anything works on them basically im fine however u do it my original idea was to be strickly one types but then when i researched electric types for stickman i realized u will not win over anyone with an all electric team there are multiple stat variations for every type except electric... there are only two types of pokemon for electrics when it comes to stats.... they have the fast ones with high spcl. attack and then they have the  ones that are average in almost every other stat... they dont have like one with high spcl. def and def and is slow.... they don't have one with high speed and high attack.... they only have two types

they have the fast ones with high spcl. attack and then they have the ones that are average in almost every other stat.

stat wise electrics aren't great and they dont have a wide set of moves to learn eigther i think electric and maybe poison users should have one non-electric pokemon with them atleast... cuz honestly i dnt see how ur defeating anyone with an all electric team the individual pokemon aren't very reliable and never have been

to chad29:
its your guild i didn't give it to you so u can do things that i approve of. so u don't need to appologize to me. You make the rules my job is to follow them- help other members and prove the strength of a one type team. no matter what ur my leader now and im behind you 100% best guild or worst guild. ;)

so it must be one type and one type only huh?... thats fine by me then im using flying hands down.

but are u ppl forgetting the most famous dragon trainer ever lance uses a red gyarados? Bruno a fighting trainer who uses rock types as well? and the first elite 4 member of the first generation the ice trainer who used a slowbro...  the list can go on and on but they were all famous one type trainers who had more than one type.... u think losing roloc was bad were prolly about to lose half that list doing it this way... i just have to have a charizard everyone can't play the game long enough to create two full teams but they still wanna use their favs... idk well im kinda ok with the rule cuz it makes my job easier.

fling team:

charizard
mantine -even tho i hate this pokemon
aerodactyl -even tho i hate this pokemon
dragonite
scyther
yanmega

seriously tho whats a team without a starter? how can u make an electric team and plan to stop earthquake? i just don't think its fair to ppl who use certain types.

I've noticed the dream world abilities, but I'm not really sure how it works. However having a nonlegendary with drought or drizzle would be quite nice and would probably jump Ninetails and Politoed into the overused tier of metagame. If only for people that like using weather based teams.
im sry but i have noticed the dream world abilities but uhhh, wut r they for?

and i am trying to build a dragon team now that i know dratini can be born with extreme speed.
so far i got...

dragon team:
kingdra
flygon
dragonite
altaria
charizard

any suggestions for the last pokemon on this team?

I dunno wat's with the 'bro'. What's with your abuse of 'uhhhhhhh', 'ahhhhhh', and general dragging out of letters?

As far as competition goes, count yourself lucky if you never meet Jerry's guild. He's a mudkip. He can do anything.
i'll count myself skilled after defeating them and actually jerry is the person i respect and wanna battle the most. y run from competition. :) POKEMON ROCKS!!!!!!!!

SRY BOUT THE DRAGGED WORDS LOL I DO THAT SOMETIMES

yeah but realistically everyone ain't gonna join for the right reasons but should those ppl just be cast away? so what if they don't contribute most of the guild should and there will always be those who do contribute...thats kinda what ranks within guilds are for tho right? u have ur higher ups but its not the same without the underdawgz and swindlerz... i guess if ur guild is like extreme or somthing but i thought guilds were for fun. well it don't matter so what competition will the elemental elites have, eh?
There's a difference between someone that's trying hard but not succeeding and a leech. If they only join for the status, and never so much as even make an attempt to communicate with their fellow guild members, then it's time to give them the boot. Especially if you're buying a guild base. That sh*t's expensive, bro.
yeah its expensive...so... and uhh i said im done talkin about it.....and uhhh...wasss ahhhh wit da bro :( .... anywayz whats the competition for elemental elites?
