Although i'm not seeing a lot of motivation to finish the second part of the quest, although since you put many "[...]"'s then I'm guessing it's worth doing. xD

I remember I made me Togepi's happiness go up in crystal by giving it hair cuts in some underground tunnel erea. I really can't remember the name or area.

But yeah, basically you could give 1 pokemon a haircut a day and it'd bring its happiness.

and as for Umbreon and Espion, i thought they evolved depending at what time you trained them ?

Like if you wanted an Umbreon you'd have to train them during the night, and for Espion it was during the day.

lol it went from being easy to get to almost impossible.

Anyways here's my suggestion. instead of only 10 people being chosen, it should be like 30-50 people out of everyone in the game, but only half of those people leave with a shiny pokemon.

and that's if it's going to be once every year.

If it's going to be a monthly thing, then of course less people should be picked to go :]

I mean 25 people leaving with shiny pokemon; i still feel like this pokemon would be amazingly rare to the thousands of players who don't have one xD

You guys now how in every Pokemon Game. when you get your first Pokemon. you get attack't  by a wild pokemon. so i thought what if they use that in the game. tell me what you think. and forgive me if this was said.

This has to be the best idea I've ever read in PU, it's beyond original. It's the most complex and meaningful 4 incomplete sentences I've ever read. It's honestly almost orgasmic. 5 stars.

unfortunately like Mr_Dark said, you're going to pick your pokemon when creating your toon at the beginning of the game.

Say there is a forest, in that forest you can expect to catch anything ranging from bugs to small woodland creatures to the occasional wandering whatever, i think instead of set spawn points, randomized spawn points according to a pokemon's living habitat would be a welcome change over the habitual set spawn points of pokemon's predecessors.

I thought it was always "spawn points according to a pokemon's living habitat" ?

No we will implement a normal bank system where you can store you money. Only the big city's will have an actual bank building, but the smaller towns will probably have an ATM machine ;)

I know it's a hella easy quest, but everyone else seems like they're trying too hard to come up with something amazing, I'm trying to think of something easy and doable; something that has a chance at getting implemented into PU :p


"trying too hard" i only write when i have the motivation to do so! i am insulted that you would say that i am trying too hard to get my stuff implemented into PU! hmph!

now you owe me a beer to make up for your blasphemy!

anyway..... not a bad quest, i actually like the simplicity to it, but it would require navigating through a lot of tall grass, otherwise it might prove to be too short.

also, after you have completed the quest (for simplicity sake), the old man should continue to pace around, and when you talk to him he mentions that his granddaughter is out yet again, and that he is worried about her, but that he probably always will be. if you go out and find her again, you can see her just walking around in the grass.....maybe if you talk to her then randomly once in a while you will be thrown into a battle and have to protect her.


Well i wasn't really talking about you when I said people are trying too hard xD
I mean like; everyone's trying to think of evil forces to battle against, and I just didn't want to try that hard to make some crazy epic quest especially when I don't know enough details of in game ereas, and NPC's that WILL be put into the game. Don't know if I'm making myself clear with that last sentence.

That addition after the quest works too :]
