although a lot of people dislike the addition of all the new pokemon, i like the variety it adds to the game so you cant always build a team that can counter every possible strategy out there with every single pokemon

let me rephrase, best player vs player 1v1 kill. mine was pure luck, which is why it was interesting to me scizor was obviously slower than zapdos, so if he lived, lets see how much damage he could do before he dies. attack. his item, quick claw, activates. he gets to attack. he uses double hit. previously used swords dance, his technician and a base of 160 attack would allow the double hit to actually do decent damage. first hit is a crit and takes the zapdos to under half hp and the second one kills him.

the only time i dont let them evolve is when they learn a move they wouldnt learn. for example i think at lvl 42 or somethin, mudkip learns hydro pump, but neither marshtomp or swampert learns it

I generally don't give out my competitive teams; just a general rule of thumb in which I like to keep it as hush hush as possible until I test how it does. Still, I'll give off an old team that I managed to do superbly with. It's no longer as effective as it used to be, due to a meta-game shift and Focus Sash leads coming back into play.
Lead Heatran Offensive Suicune "Tinkerbell" Celebi CScarf Rotom-H CBand Scizor Life Orb Latias.
Now, you'll probably be like, "OMGAHZ! LEGENDURIES!" Well, to be honest, so long as a Pokemon is OU or lower, I don't care if it has the legendary status. Jirachi is one of my favorite legendaries, as well as one of my favorite OU 'mons.
The idea behind this team was devoted to resistances, immunities, and bulky offense. Everyone of them, including Rotom, could take more than a few hits and dish them back out. It really shone, though, because of the Water / Fire / Grass defensive core. That alone saved my ass in many a fight, where I could out predict an opponent by switching around and wearing them down. (Starmie leads were, and still are, damn scary.)
wow, my team would have gotten your then Starmie Charizard Dragonite Tyranitar Metagross Hitmonlee This is my lg team and a team on my diamond. I just like the team and the different combinations it can dish out

Best steel type? skarmory is good. covers his bases with the flying type, but is way weak to fire. aggron's def is off the charts a lil too. i have one lvl 50 and his def is around 220, so he can take a hit unless the hit is a ground type or fighting type move. in that cases he is pretty much wasted. personally, i prefer metagross because of the damage he can deal, but if you are looking for a steel type that can cover himself, empoleon is probably what you're looking for

what was everyones best fight in the game? one where you ko'ed an opponent pkmn and they sent out someone who you knew for a fact you couldnt beat, but somehow you did. mine was a lvl 60 scizor on a lv 62+ zapdos

I'm just saying hi to everyone. I'm new to PU, but not to Pokemon in general. I like the site and hope to be here for awhile.
