I thought maybe copywrite , was in the way. Is PU protected from getting shut down instantly by gamefreak ,or who ever does that sort of thing? I know a little of topic ,but I am really wondering.
Since we're doing all sprites, tilesets, and coding by ourselves they can't sue us for completely copying the game since everything is made by PU's own artists and writers.
have you guys had a lawyer check that, (or at least looked closely at the copyright laws yourself?) because I would hate for you to do all this work only to have it shut down.

1) The entire coding system was changed, everything needed to be rewritten. 2) A lack of good pixel artists caused the process of creating PU to slow down really hard. We have a few good ones now. 3) a new dialog-, quest- and NPC-system was written.
We want to give you guys a great product to play with, not just a crappy version of pokémon like pokémon crater etc. This takes time so be patient. You might recieve info on what we have done and will be doing in the future sooner than expected.
ah didn't realize you guys had completely changed so much stuff thanks for replying

Now I don't mean to complain, but I recall the game was supposed to have an open beta in December of 2011 but was delayed about 2 months before it happened because Skyrim and Skyward Sword came out. Now I understand you guys are very busy and I appreciate the hard work you are doing. I just can't help but wonder why if the game was so close to beta in late 2011, what happened?

I just have to point out Oshawatt looks cute, then cool, then totally awesome. (But then again that is true of most starters.)

wow 50,000 didn't realize that many where registered, in that case a setup more like Free Realms would make sense, where the houses and such are on a different play field than the game world, and you can invite friends and guild mates over to your house.

I agree with Cortex here, I mean there are already the the normal chances that that a move won't land. Having a bunch of extra chances that the move is likely to miss would be pain in the neck.

I know this idea has been suggested, I never saw whether player houses where going to be in the game or not. I have an idea for how they can be implemented.
There could be a specific area on each island with a certain number of small houses, large houses, and extra large houses (The extra large are only purchasable by guilds as a guild house). now to have these houses you have to pay rent in the form of in-game currency.

That sounds like a really cool idea, as well as a way to create something that can be done in groups.

Man I hope the beta is delayed too long by Skyrim, and Skyward Sword, (Skyward Sword is awesome btw.)

Name:Robinson3938 Age:15
Favourite Pokemon: Gyrados How much competitive battling experience do you have? I beat Pokemon Yellow, Firered, and am over halfway through, Crystal and Emerald. How much do you know of each Pokemon? I can give you the name and type of almost any Pokemon third gen, and back, I also know, (or am capable of looking up), there moves. How's your math? I have an A+ in my math class.
Why do you think you would be useful when testing the PU metagame? I report glitches, I'm knowledgeable of Pokemon, I have alot of free time, and have tons of experience in mmorpgs.
What changes do you think should be made to the current metagame? I agree with some of the people that posted before, it seem that the late generations are becoming more powerful than the previous generations.

Even though it was an April Fools joke, we still got to try out the battle system a little bit which was nice.

You guys should just wait for pokemon Gray, (Or whatever they are going to name the third game) and then you will be able to catch all three legendary, and have wider range of other pokemon, as well as any upgrades they've made to the game by then.
