Uh, no. Not really.

I'd like to see an evil team use pokemon that are noted as being violent and aggressive in their pokedex entries. Like the most unfriendly pokemon.

Dark is now the only type that resists ghost now. I just realized this. Unless something else changed, of course. I wonder how that will change things.

I just go to download something, and it seems like I downloaded something different from what I wanted to download.

I've been having some trouble getting the thing to work, and worrying about downloading stuff I don't really want to download. I'm aware of the loss of ghost and dark resistance. Imagine my elation at seeing a ghost and dark type, then learning they decided to remove two resistances. Still, it has the advantage over fairy, which is good.

I'm glad Aerodactyl gets brave bird and head smash, making him a great offensive lead. I'd also like to see aegislash be a great defensive lead. Lapras got freeze dry, an ice move that's super effective against water types, but no new evolution to back it up with. Mega or otherwise. Poor thing.

I'm still alive too.

I'm interested in using Aegislash more than any other gen 6 pokemon, I think. Though he's definitely not the only one I'm interested in.

I figure you could play him two ways. Use King's Shield to go from defense to offense, or use his bulk to set up some speed and go in for the sweep without worrying about KS. He has Autotomize for speed, which is good. He seems like he has good lead material, and he was great synergy with Hydreigon. I guess I'd just be worried about Hydreigon stealing the show from the rest of the team. It might be like putting Kyogre on a gen 3-4 rain team for Drizzle.

Do you think Gamefreak has figured some of these pokemon are such beasts offensively that they've decided to nerf attacks because of that? Or is it something else?

We three kings of Orient are
Bearing gifts, we traverse afar
Field and fountain, moor and mountain
Following yonder star

Maybe throw a Starmie in that group. Starmie must lead before those three.

I will try to participate. I just need to try to get the simulator to work, and figure out a christmas themed party.

Seems like you'll have the same problems with Noah that I had with Wednesday.

Did they not even give him crunch when they decided on having him be part dark? That's just insult to injury.

The move that's supposed to make up for Aegislash's pitiful defense and speed, and the recommendation is to just forgo it. I never liked combining low defenses and low speed.

Clefable is pretty boss!

Actually if you're getting priority, then if the enemy survives they will hit you outside of defense stance.

This reminds me of when I first saw Rhyperior. I LOVED that one of my favorite old school pokemon got an evolution, but many fans were unimpressed. I'm sure that someone will find a way to bring out Aegislash's potential, even if it is just a niche role.

Looks like Talonflame is the second surprisingly good early game bird, after Staraptor. I'm glad. Still, it will have a problem with stealth rock and probably most rock types.

I can see Aegislash as a late game sweeper at best. Get the TWave and burners out of the way, and he can clean up. Not a terror of Gen 6 perhaps, but useful. Or at least something that looks awesome at first glance, but serious battlers will be able to see through it.
