Hey everyone.
This is probably the wrong place to post this, and for that... I apologise.

I will now be leaving Pokémon Universe, never to return... :'(

I'm going to focus on my schoolwork and stuff because I've recently started my GCSE courses and I really want to do well.

To Mr_Dark, Urmel and the rest of the team, good luck with the game. Not that you'll need it. It's going to rock. I can garuntee it will. So thanks for the fun forum chats, everyone.

Goodbye. :)

Oh. I swear I read somewhere it was 3rd. But now you mention it... 3 and 8 do kind of look alike...

If you squint...
In the dark.

in my opinion, if not a fact, pokemon is just as famous, if not more, as mario & Sonic

Pokémon is the second biggest-selling video game franchise in the world, losing only to Mario.
Which means it's sold more games, merchendise etc. than Sonic (which is third).

Firtly; welcome.

Secondly; You strike me as a fairly 'cocky' person... we'll see how good you really are when the game is released... I look forward to battling you very much.

Thirdly; You're going to have a hell of a hard time beating my Flying-Type team; and don't go thinking I'll be using all birdies... remember Pokémon like Charizard & Salamence are Flying-Types.

:)

I once saw a Meowth hot air balloon...
Oh wait, that was on TV...

Make yourself like them if you have to, because I'm sick of hearing this whining and criticizing.

...then don't read our posts, simple as.
Our opinions are valid, as are yours.
In all respect, you have no right to tell us what to think.

I do like some Pokémon there, actually.
The grass starters beginning to grow on me, pun not intended.
The water starter's very cool, I love the vulture and the eagle Pokémon, I also like the little emo-candle, the three evolved monkeys look cool, their pre-evos do not. :P
The diamond-rock metagross thing looks very cool, will definately be using it in a team.
The rock/water tortoise (fossil Pokémon, I think) also seems cool.
Zoroark is just the baddest motherchanseyer to ever live.
Luvdisk's evolution seems great.
Bug/electric combo seems interesting.
The dragon-type with blades near its mouth also is a firm favourite.
Three headed dragons FTW.
So as you can see, I'm not hating on all the Pokémon.

I also like the fact that bug-types won't be considered so weak in this generation...

I just don't like so many fighting-types... it seems pointless.

This is probably the very worst of all the generations, in my opinion.
It's our opinions, please respect it. I respect yours

There are a few decent Pokémon there though, I like the Water/Rock tortoise and the Luvdisc evolution doesn't look too bad.
I'm also beginning the think the grass-starter's final evolution looks quite cool.
Electric with levitate + electric/flying types are an epic fail.

I love my Flying types... they don't seem too terrible actually.. there's also a pure flying-type legendary. That's a first. Very interesting...

Also... I know all generations have a trio of legends... but these are... genies?
The hell?

Also, the very last one has a cannon on its head...  ???

They just don't seem like Pokémon to me.

EDIT: #607 Hitomoshi AKA Emo Candle is officially the cutest thing ever.

He's new, Jimmy... go easy on him. :)

The game's in beta now, which means only admins and a selected few can play at the moment; the game hasn't even been finished yet. But it will be done some time in 2010... apparently.
If you're very nice and active on the forums, you might get asked to test the next pre-beta.

Anyway, welcome.
Ok, welcome Bara! :)

This made me hungry. I'm Welsh, and in Welsh, 'bara' means bread. SANDVITCH TIME. 8)

Oh c'mon... another fire/fighting type starter?
We don't have plenty of those do we?

They're going really overboard with the fighting types this generation... Christ.

I love the Yorkshire terrier Pokémon with a huge moustache.
Also I like the electric/bug combo...

The Pokéball mushroom is the most unoriginal thing Nintendo has ever come up with...
Jesus...

Possible Tauros evolution looks... interesting.
I like the water-rock turtle thing.

Anyhow, we're steering off the thread.
Back to discussing starters, yes? :)

I can safely say... three Pokémon look appealing to me;

Otter (will definitely be using), rock-Metagross thing, and pseudo-dragon guy.

People suddenly stopped hating on the otter.

Sora; You've made me really hungry... thanks, I just had dinner... ice-cream time. :)

Hehe, yeah, Fry... but to be fair... all starters seem to suck nowadays. These three would be no different... I mean... just look at poor Otter... no one wants him.

Nah, I'm so choosing the otter when I get my copy... totally gonna leave it in my computer though. :)
