Really can't say it was ALL spirit - he didn't do it all by himself. Far as we know, without Janus' post, no one else would have thought of the idea.
Either way, the idea sounds pretty good to me. I likey. :{D

It'd *possibly* reach both coasts, but... Not sure. I don't know any specifics.

The game-play mechanics of a Pokemon game pretty much say it'd be for lazy trainers, but in terms of making Pokemon make sense it is actually a very good idea.
But... I'm not in the crew of making it so I don't have any say other than that it could work out, just needs more depth than "letting you get a random Pokemon".
Maybe if you had to pay some money to the adoption center when you adopt it - kind of like the game corner prizes? Only you'd just pay money.

Gonna have to say my favorite Pokemon is... Erm... I don't know. XD
I never had favorites. I just always loved Arcanines and Haunters.
So I'd say it's one of those two... Don't know which one for sure.
Why? Well, Arcanine's just awesome. He's like a dog that can BREATH FIRE. Haunter is just plain out ownage, because he's a ghost n' all.
I really can't pick one out of those two... Their just too awesome-sauce.
