Hey there, welcome. Check out the FAQ and rules before you post, and have fun.
Also i would recommend playing past gold and silver, the games are very fun. Generation three is my favorite with ruby and you can find some free emulators of it online if you google it.
Does Fire Red count? I have it sitting around. Poor game gathering dust. I had diamond but when a friend of mine was robbed I gave it to him because he was such a big fan of pokemon.

Hello, call me Therew. A little bit about myself, I've played pokemon since red and blue until gold and silver. Fell out of the game since then but never out of love with the concept. I hope my stay here will be enjoyable and enjoyed.

Squirtle. Somthing about the tiny titan I love. Is it something to do with my child hood love of turtles? Water? I dont know. But the tiny tike is awesome. If only I could have both him and Bulbasaur I would be a very happy pokemon trainer. Those two pokemon are simply the greatest of all time.
