I am most likely in. Will let you know within the next two days. The time I allow myself to be on the computer is almost up today, otherwise I'd read over your post more thoroughly and confirm.

I'd imagine it'd be quite a task.

That's funny. But do you not think a pokemon MMO would be awesome? If you don't...what are you doing on this site?

I'll reserve my judgement till I play the game, but my initial vibe over this Mega evolution business isn't good. I think the majority of the evolutions look bad and I don't think I'll like the added element they'd bring to a battle.
If Game Freak wanted to do something really awesome, they could have made a pokemon MMO 6

Okay, it's finally that time.
What time is that? ...Gym Time... When I entered, I made quick work of the two trainers in my way, all that was left was Cheren. We'll see. But first I get to pick the two pokemon I will use for the fight. I wonder which two I will pick.... How about everyone not named Tyler!!!! Wrex! Shepard! Let's go!!! SHEPARD USE METAL CLAW!!! okay...I mean it was just metal claw. Don't get all weird and make a big deal about it now! BOOM! CONGRATS! Your Patrat is almost as useless as Tyler! Yeah, maybe like a wall of wet toilet paper. I'm bringing Shepard in now! <2 turns later> Alright Shepard...you know what do now...FINISH HIM! I guess. That fight was easier than running into a Zubat in a cave. Whatever, I'm sick and tired of your face. Nerd, give me my Badge! Yah! Now I'm out of here...on to the next one! 7

Yukimenoko-
Tyler #2 is cute AND useless! Also, not as useless as Tyler #3 or #4. There, we both win Humen- You need to purchase Action Replay, or if you use emulators there's a way to input them in there. 8

WARNING: Contains spoilers for Pokemon Black 2
So I started my journey and this is my team We have a Tepig, Aron, Panpour, Chingling, Surskit, and Skitty. You may have noticed the majority of my team is named "Tyler". This is in honor of Tyler Durden from the book and movie "Fight Club". In the film, Tyler at one point states "We are God's unwanted children". Well... These are my unwanted children. I hate all four, equally. They are either useless, annoying to look at, or a combination of the two. Fortunately my starter, Wrex, is a bad-ass and I was able to grab an Aron, Shepard, who saved me from capturing a complete platoon of ineptness. Whatever, maybe I will learn to love my Tylers. Probably not. Anyway, I have grinded and grinded, and I believe I am ready for the first gym leader. I had some experiences along the way though. I broke into this ranch at 11 o'clock at night. The owners didn't seem to mind though, which was weird. We certainly are. What was weirder was that I was not alone, there were some strange sorts lurking in the deep forest at the edge of the ranch. First there was...a Janitor. I'm glad you find me impressive...and young...[slowly walks away] And then there was this guy! Only special kind of people say that to girls at 11 o'clock in the evening in the woods, alone, at night. I call them Chansey. (They're really not called Chansey [Chansey is a pokemon, silly goose], I just call them that because I don't want to say the actual word) Fortunately, I'm a tough cookie and I was able to defend myself and ward off his unsavory attempt. This is what he had to say for himself. Well I hope for humanity's sake you don't. At least you're an inept Chansey...those aren't so bad... Anyway, that was my night. Next time we try to defeat a gym leader! 9
Games / Nuzlocke Variation (6locke challenge)« on: September 08, 2013, 05:04:54 AM »
Hey. I'm currently starting a variation of the Nuzlocke challenge I created called a 6locke challenge.
Here are the rules... -To begin, when you pick your starter and are first able to catch pokemon, punch in a cheat code for at least 5 masterballs and then a code that will make all pokemon you encounter randomly selected. -Your party will consist of your starter plus the first five pokemon you encounter. That's it: you cannot capture or battle with any other pokemon. -You may only catch pokemon that are 1st in their evolution line or pokemon who do not evolve. If you encounter an evolved pokemon you must skip it and capture the next one until you have a total of six pokemon, including your starter. -Once you have six pokemon, turn off the codes. This is the team you will be using for the entire game. -If a pokemon faints, put it in the box. It is dead. -For any trainer, gym, or elite four battle, you may only use one recovery item during a fight. -For gym leader battles, you may only bring the same number of pokemon your opponent has to the fight. -Every time you defeat a gym leader, you may revive your team. -Every time you defeat an elite four member, you may revive one pokemon from your team. -If the player ever whites out, you lose the game. You must start over. -If you defeat the Champion, you win the game! Exceptions... -If none of the pokemon in your party can use an HM needed to progress through the game, you can capture a pokemon for the sole use of using that HM. That pokemon cannot be used in battles. -If your opponent uses more than one recovery item in the fight, you may use as many recovery items in the fight as they do. -You can capture shinies, but cannot use them in battle. -If one of the first 6 pokemon your eligible to capture is an unevolved legendary, you can capture it. However, your party is only allowed one legendary. You must skip the next one you encounter. -Revive, or any variation of it, may not be used as a recovery item in battle. -When capturing the pokemon for your team, you must skip duplicates. Post if you're interested in giving it a shot. I'm starting my first run now. I'll be posting updates as I proceed on my journey... 10

Craftswitch!!! Where art thou???
If she doesn't come back soon, I'm considering starting my own RP on here and GMing. Will wait a bit longer before I decide though. I know she said she was starting college, so I understand if she's busy. 11

Thanks for the info Humen. I remember a year and a half ago the boards were a lot more active. What happened? Lack of updates/buzz about the game?

So i just finished throwing an amazing party and I am exhausted. Partying is hard work.
Anyway, do whatever you need to do Craft, I just recommend you do it as quickly as you can. We want to keep the Momentum going. Please get back to me about the whole target level range thing. I realize we're essentially doing this "anime style" so the level doesn't really matter, but I'd still like to get your input. Feel free to request help if you need any too. If you need someone to assist you with GM duties once in awhile, I'd feel confident and comfortable in doing so. I know college can be a lot of work. Best of luck! 14

Sweet, Humen. I love your choice of pokemon.
Before we move forward, can I get some confirmation from Craft on what the target level range should be? Based on everyone's profiles, we have pokemon ranging from level 18 all the way too 48. I'd like to keep things competitive and yet I would also prefer to stay a few levels above the average, given that I only have one pokemon. 15

No worries.
How's everyone's schedule look for RPing? 1:00am-5:00am GMT is pretty open for me everynight (except Friday's and Saturday's when I'm typically partying). Sundays-Tuesdays are bad days because I work, but Wednesday-Thursday, and Friday-Saturday 2:00pm-11:00pm GMT are good times. If everyone's open to it, let's set a date 2-3 times a week where we'll all be on and can roleplay for solid 1-2 hour clips. Also, when we start and things are rolling along we should consider exchanging facebooks and creating a group page where we can more easily stay in contact with one another. I'm committed to having this RP have some longevity and the best way to create that is through good communication. |
