A couple years ago I crashed my bike...Went over the handle bars and head on into a brick wall. :'(
Major concusion and road rash on the entire right side of my face...ouch.

I almost forgot to mention that Tyranitar's offensive stats are much better than Umbreon's, although Umbreon has more speed. (Both of these pokemon are slower than many other dark types)

It depends if you are looking at defense or offense. I consider myself a Dark-type master, and am very familiar with the stats of all dark type pokemon.

Defensively, I would recommend either Umbreon or Tyranitar.

Offensively, I would recommend either Weavile or Honchkrow.

Spiritomb is good if you don't care about speed. It also has no weaknesses, so sometimes it doesn't matter if it goes last.

As far as the Ghost type is concerned, I'm not sure. My job as a Dark specialist is simply to crush them.  :)
