It seems there's no job I can do...so I'am of course still spending time in my little project. Maybe I'll start rewriting in go lang, so in future I could be helpful to you. I like Pokémon (let's say I've all the first 50 nintendo games ;) but not more than the satisfaction of getting some code working!

I'm Daniele, from Italy. Searching around the web for ideas about making Pokémon game with SDL I've found this imho very nice community. So I'm a programmer with fair knowledge of c++ and python, I've already recreated from scratch (and alone) game engines like super mario and I'm trying to get something similar to the Pokémon one. Finally I got here with the hope of being helpful and enjoy with you also the fun of making games. I'm interested in all engine development (included net part, if we're going to use sdl_net socket, which I can use well). I didn't know the go language but it seems fantastic! I also enjoy playing piano, and maybe you'll like my kinds of compositions (expecially in ff style).
So I hope to be helpful with this greeeat project (=
