No....
I think he is trying to tell us something.... But anyway, I agree with the rest of the folks who say that this idea is not the best. The Pu devs are not out there working to make this game easier and more boring, but they are working their butts off trying to make this as fun and exciting a game as possible. This goes out to everyone in general and I know it has been said a million times but, please think over your ideas thoroughly before posting Anything that may infact create the game to become less fun. Just thought I would point this out again

wow so if that's not going to happen does that mean my whole light side dark side thing isn't going to happen
Yes Draagn, I don't beleive they will be including your light/dark side in PU, mostly because the idea of these "teams" will be very complicated to create. At this point I beleive that the PU devs will definitely be having an evil team, but only run by NPC's and not real players. All players are technically all on the good team already anyways because you are fighting against the other evil team.

Alright so what if I wanna use a HM as a move in battle? ... Do I have to teach it twice to the same pokemon? And since it quest based in PU that would make it even more inconvenient
Yea, I agree. So, just to clear up what Gammal said, basically what you're going to have to do if you want to use say, surf, as a battle move, is you're going to have to teach it to you're pokemon in your HM slot and in the battle moves list? or............ If you teach it to your pokemons battle moves list, you will still be able to use it outside of battle and in battle, but it would take up a slot for another move. Personally, I like using most of the HM's as battle moves so the HM slot would not be as convinient for me. If you could just clear things up that would be great.

Pokemon is not an army game, sorry.
Yea I agree. This is not like pokemon at all. It just wont be the same if we try to make it all army and stuff like that. This sounds way to army based and as far as I can tell, the PU devs have no intention of changing PU at all. I think they already have a quest line set out already, and I don't think any of it relates to anything army-like.

Ok no spectating! Got it!

I like the idea of spectating, however.....
If too many people want to spectate one battle, it might make that part of the map become laggy.
I suggest that if the PU devs do infact include spectating, there should be a limit on how many people can spectate at once.

That sounds a bit op right there m8... But hey, its going on the list, tweaking can be done later .
Thank you for contributing
Yes, you are definitely right. We will need to reduce the % of the crtitical hit part, but I don't think the speed part is to over-powering. It needs to be fairly high if it is going to be somewhat of a special skill.

also after some updates this the pokedex mew's area could receive strange signals where some events happens like if you add a zapdos/moltres/articuno event mew's area could locate where they are
SnowAlphaWolf: This has already been presented as an idea. Please read all the posts before comenting. This quest will in fact lead to a chain of quests if it is put into the game.

How bout this one.....
Skill - Rapid Attack
Info: The active pokemon has an 80% chance of attacking first and a 50% chance of getting a critical hit.
Effective Until......
The enemy pokemon uses a speed lowering attack or....
The enemy pokemon uses a water, poison, or ground attack that will essentially lower the speed even though it doesn't say it did.

Why make it so complicated? The end result is the same anyway. Keep it simple. Nuff said Simple is definitely the best way to run a tournament. I have experience with tournaments and I have been affected by them before. It was very unorganized and the people tried to make it to intricate so I ended up being at the tournament for at least 5 hours. If the PU devs decide to make a tournament then only the people who came in first second and third should get points. This will be much easier and also, people who cant win any battles shouldn't be able to get points. So....... -Keep it simple -Only award points to top 3 (or 8 like in fencing) -don't allow to many people to join (it might get very confusing)

Mr_Dark I think tht is a great idea because if you have everything together in one big library. It would be inconvinient to have to keep going back and forth, from what you are doing and the library. If we just place certain hints, clues, or special events in side caves, on routes, in towns, etc then it will reduce the hassle of going back and forth.
Also if you decide to make one big library I suggest you make it able to fly to because otherwise it won't be used often if people have to travel long distances by foot, bike, etc.
**EDIT: Also, if you make one big library you should include one in every major city and that would probably have more of a use for people traveling long distances ad going through many cities.
