What is this?
I have been working on a MMO for 1.5 Years now and we are soon going in Semi-Close Alpha. (1 April).

Guess some info is in it place. I don't really know if this forum is the type of players that gonna play this MMO since i strongly believe it will be to "gore" with inner-body material flying all over the screen. It wont be the classy "Pick this and that class" because its a Sandbox game. We wont have an skill cap, but we use a algorithmic to make it harder for each skill you get,but in theory you can have as many skill points as you like. We have around 5 skills finish 50 skills semi-finish(I like to start new things all the time) 100 planned-ready-to-be coded and around 100 more to be planned.

Graphic
For you all who ask what type of "Graphic" is going to be, it will be a "realistic" environment. This will be played in First Person View only and you will not be able to change that (But with a skill).

Character
You will not be able to chose your "look" at character creation.
But we will have skills for barber's, tattoos, Face Shaping and a few other stuffs.

Magic
This game is based on Magic and is a prime thing in the game. We have been working on a Voice-System where you talk out the spells in an microphone (Think Harry Potter) and then you do them. You will have ALL the spells in the game at start BUT you character will not be able to handle them all and might explode from the pressure.
We have 4 Language in development to be spoken in this system.

I could keep going on all the features of the game but it would take to long to explain 3 years of planning in a single Thread.

The suggestion was mainly for wild and not pvp. Also the thing about seeing others Pokémon was not an idea i had...

The high grass argument is not that good since Ash could pick Pokémon when he saw them. You dont throw a Pokeball and hope for the best and a Pokémon appear. In the Nintendo 64 version of battle in Pokémon you had 6 Pokémon and you would have to chose 3 in any order. Why not make so you can see the players (or not) but still chose what Pokémon you wanna start with. I think this will prevent allot of XP feeding to a single Pokémon.. (Still just a theory)

something i miss in the Gameboy games is that (havent played the new once) i always has to chose the order of the pokémon before every fight. Ash in the series always pick his battling pokémon after he sees what wild Pokémon he meets. This will no work in PvP since you will not know witch Pokémon your opponent chose, but i think it would be cool to be able to chose what Pokémon you wanna start to fight with before sending anyone out..

Since i am fairly new i have read some of the rules and most of the rules are the same every where. I did use the search button but if this suggestion is already out there feel free to delete, i know i would.

Hello my fellow programmers and non-programmers (Artist Guys and what ever...) also all the other members on the forum. I am an "old" guy who was born before Pokémon started. I still live on my moms basement and she fills my tummy with cookies that i can share by e-mail. I guess there is not much to tell but to wish your luck with the game development.
