That's only if they have no gap closers such as Akali, Xin Zhao, Nocturne(less so) or a few others like that.
Edit: Or any hard CC with decent range.

Even with the synergy debate, 95% of pokemon would go good in a battle team rather than to show off, including the pokemon with a higher rarity scale, if something like that exists. As someones signature said, win with your favorites. Therefore, build your team around your favorites to create something solid.

It would be pretty screwy if a pidgey could wreck a golem. Even if pidgey had a water or grass attack(though not possible, obviously), it shouldn't do much.
How would that work? A pokemon like scyther only has one evolution while geodude has three. You're balancing stats, right? That can create imbalance. So either way, some pokemon are bound to be stronger than others, though not completely overpowered.
well a pidgeot with water or grass can kick golem's butt.
Because of the stats, yeah. I started this thread because I've been watching pokemon on an anime site. Dratini is incredibly rare on there, along with some other pokemon considered rare in the games. And there's some sort of currency in PU, right? Rarer pokemons would be worth more, thus creating a solid ingame economy. Well, guess that's just up to the balancing team. I look forward to the games release. I can't want to see how it turns out.

I already used the search and didn't see anything like this.
Would pokemon like Dratini, Scyther, Snorlax and whatnot be catchable? And if so, is there a rarity scale? I'd like to see some pokemon being incredibly rare.

Boy, do I feel I was playing pokemon with the wrong mindset.
I just gave all my pokemon attack moves and dominated.
This was enlightening.

If that's the case, I would say one of these: 1) the guild disbands after the Leader is absent after 6 Months or 2) The Highest Contributor not including the Leader takes the role of Leader after 6 months..
The option of a coleader may also give that person the same abilities and authority as the actual leader. The leader must be inactive for 30, 60, 90 or however many days before the co-leader can take over as leader. About the cities idea. This can be an automated system instance that's paid for ingame. After a period of time, if not used, it's deleted. If challenging the leader for ownership really is necessary, then have the tournament style-takeover automated with an NPC. The 4 or 8 people that would play the tourney must be decided by other members of the guild. After a maximum of 8 people signed up for the takeover-tournament and another wants to join, the first 8 to sign up at NPC will get the chance. This means if lesser players sign up then they're easily dominated and booted from the tournament. Whoever wins the tournament and if they beat the current leader, there may be a limited time vote at the guild NPC for the members of the tournament to vote if they approve the new leader. If not that, then only people that have contributed a certain amount close to what the guild leader has may enter the takeover-tournament to challenge him.

I've been around for quite a while now, probably a year and have only lurked while doing so. I'll continue to lurk but only because I don't like replying when others have already made the point I would've or that it's so easily made that I've no need to reply.
The verification is annoying as well.

Herro. I'm Wyrd. Like most users here, I've been playing pokemon forever now.
My favorite pokemon is Espeon. Favorite types are dragon and psychic. Least favorite's are poison, grass and bug.
