As long as it's not the muffed up red panda for the fire starter I don't really mind the other two >.>

Someone posted that image to match the sillhouettes... So... Yeah. I'm not sure if they're 100 percent real or not; The fire starter looks very iffy to me. The water starter looks like a pig Marrill. The only one I like so far is the grass starter...

Nice screenshots. Everything looks very clean cut and organized. The people's legs look a bit odd though.

Ideas & Suggestions / Re: How about trainer party?« on: March 17, 2010, 03:18:49 AM »
I think trainers are going to interact plenty already with the tournaments, quests, trading, etc. I have to say I don't like the team battle idea. If one person has lets say a level 50 pokemon and the other has a level 5 pokemon and they battle a high level pokemon, since the experience is split down the middle, the weak pokemon is going to level up very quickly. That seems a bit unfair to me. It would be nice to have double battles for tournaments but not for normal battles.

1) 1 in 10,000 = Almost impossible? O.o 1 in 250 for common pokemon and 1 in 1000 for rare pokemon would probably be a better chance ratio. The ratio means it's still unlikely to happen but it's not nearly impossible.
2) Tetris is awesome. Pokemon tetris would be even better but I'm not too sure how anyone can make it related to pokemon unless there were pokemon unlockables or something. 3) Pinball... I approve of the idea but I think having everyone download their own images to use may screw some things up. Maybe there could be different levels with different Pokemon types for each level? 4) I don't understand how rock beats thunder but alright xD Ground beats thunder, thunder beats water, water beats ground. 5) Certain pokemon are being 'revamped' to have more proportionate skill values, so it would have to comply with the revamp. 6) I suck at underground flag games But still a reasonable idea. 10

My boyfriend got me hooked on Left 4 Dead [1 and 2], Stubbs The Zombie, and we occasionally played Fairytale Fights [I always liked being the little naked guy with the leaf on his crotch :] ]
Fairytale Fights isn't split screen, and it's easy to fall off ledges and whatnot. The characters appear very small when you're playing co-op. Left 4 Dead is my personal favorite out of all of them. Many different modes and campaigns, plus you can play as the special infected and attack the survivors :] I wouldn't recomend playing the Spitter though... Very low hit points which sucks since you pretty much have to be a few feet away from the survivors in order to attack... Usually. I played this game every time I saw my boyfriend till his Xbox got the ring of death :[ Stubbs the Zombie is pretty interesting. You play as an infected zombie back in the 50's or something and you can nom on other people and make them your zombie minions. You also have exploding kidneys and can bowl with your head and take control of other people with your dismembered hand :] Just be cautious when purchasing a 360... Xboxs have been known to break down randomly, become over heated, etc. and get the ring of death then you need to spend 100 bucks to send it out and get it fixed... But I'll admit other than that the Xbox 360 is AWESOME! 14
Jobs / Re: Mapper job request.« on: March 15, 2010, 12:59:48 AM »
The images would be of better and clearer quality if they were saved and uploaded in .PNG instead of .JPG... But besides that, I see no outstanding flaws in them. They seem organized and well thought out, but I'm pretty sure the Pokemon Center used on PU is different than the ones used in Nintendo games. That's the only difference I can point out from your maps and the map examples on the Screen shots page :] Good work.

Ideas & Suggestions / Re: something not to have« on: March 14, 2010, 01:30:34 AM »
I agree that Pokemon Indigo is pretty horrible... It's slow, the maps are usually crowded, you can find a shiny pokemon every ten steps, there is no rarity system, the types don't match up correctly for most pokemon, half of the moves [For example, stat reducing and increasing moves] have no effect or can't be used, and it's full of glitches.
But it is a web browser based game; Pokemon Universe, from what I've seen, requires you to download the game and open it separately and is more accurate than other games. You have to actually work in this game instead of just using an easily obtained master ball on a high leveled legendary and finishing the game within five minutes... |
