Hey, how about a poster showing some of the Pokemon world's items. Something like:
Moomoo Milk... Poffin Guide 2012 book... Cheats to Pokemon emerald book... Oran berry recipes book... Lava cookies... Of course, you wouldn't be able to buy that stuff in the pokemart. The poster would just say that stuff. 3

Do you have an Xbox? Want to get together with other trainers over XBL? Than just post your gamer tag on this thread. With this we can have fun with each other before PU comes out, and after. Lets be honest, if you have an Xbox you probably have some slots open for more friends. So please, add your gamer tag here. We all have the same general interest, and Xbox players are on all the time.

The first Pokemon game I played was Pokemon yellow on an original Game boy. A relative gave it too me. I still have the game, and my original save file is still on there. My team on that thing is pinser, charizard, Blastoise, Snorlax, Venasaur, and Pikachu. I could never QUITE beat the elite four. Memories... 7

Besides, wildlife doesn't want pictures of animals in zoos. Anyone could get that. There are people out there who actually go to Africa just to get some pictures of Tigers and Hippos.

I personally like these pictures, but they won't get accepted. Sadly, wildlife mag isn't looking for average photographers. To be honest, I used to take pictures for my dog showing group (4-H). I always took pictures of Shetland sheepdogs, and would win 1st place all the time for dog showing camp and AKC (American Kennel Club) Massachusetts presentations . Yours are OK at best. Not only is there reflection showing in some of your pictures, the lighting was... not too good, which is not your fault, but it makes your pictures look bad. I'm going to look for some of my older pictures that won first place, so you'll see what I'm talking about.
Again, I'm not trying to insult you, I'm just saying there are a lot of people better than you at nature photography. =EDIT= Just put up the pictures on my profile. I'm not sure what you think of them, but professionals said they were good. 13

Other Chat / I've been coding« on: December 31, 2011, 04:33:58 AM »
I've been busy playing castle crashers and Halo Reach for awhile, but I've picked up a new hobby. Coding. With C and HTML. I bought a book covering HTML (all the way up to HTML5), and I've been looking up some C tutorials online.
As far as HTML coding goes I've almost mastered graphics and designing on sites, as well as advanced layouts. Once you know what command to type in for different actions and functions things get pretty easy. I've even got some java scripts from online to add and manipulate. Clearly, I don't can't any hosting available (unless I can beg someone for it). And as for C, I've had some success programing a basic game with sprites from Google images. Basically, I've made a small game in which your a blue dot moving around a grassy background avoiding red dots. I'm getting better... slowly. Well, that's about it. 15
Trainers Lounge / Re: If you were a Gym Leader?« on: December 31, 2011, 04:09:13 AM »
Normal type gym
Clefairy, miltank, clefable, snorlax Neutral Badge. The Mitank would use the same cheap strategy in Pokemon gold/silver/crystal, and the snorlax would know snore, outrage, rest, and yawn. The gym itself would be based off of the famous "stairs to nowhere" painting, and you would have to change switches to make the staircases lead up to me. The trainers would have clefairys and spindas. |
