Curious though... did anyone try to abuse the power of Twitch to gain viewers/potential artists? There's a ton of fodder out there, and I know a lot of people who draw idly on Twitch. Sounds wrong, I know know... but better to Last Resort than Struggle, am I right?

Man... it's been too dang long since I last was here. I volunteered to help a few years back, but I got depressed over the loss of my guinea pig, and then immediately sucked into a new job, and have been there for awhile... I used to come here so often and had some fights, some battles and met some incredible people... (coughcoughRolocandWednesday) and I feel bad that I wasn't able to contribute more. Also kinda sad to see it come to this!

For some reason another thought crossed my mind just a bit ago... what if, Munchlax had some sort of evolution using the Float Stone that turned it into some super fit and fast Normal/Fighting type pokemon?

Ye I am not all that sure were to begin honestly.
Same here, I'm pretty much jobless and have more than my fair share of free time so if there was some kind of like training module or something to show me I would love to do this kind of stuff. If there's a link or anything anywhere for a program or even a video to show like what it's about I wouldn't mind participating, I do have my own laptop now so I can do what I can.
I will add that I can be trained (much like a Pokemon) if one of the pixel-people is willing to help me along.
Oh there are many ways to practise, one of the most popular ways is by editing existing official pokémon sprites. A few examples:
- Recolouring helps you understand what colourscemes would fit together. - Revamping can help practising shading. - Merging two sprites together into a new kind of pokémon helps you understand anatomy. - Reposing... Well, helps you with coming up with poses for sprites. ~ - Scratching is the real deal, this is free style where no parts of any pokémon are used and is entirely based on your own imagination.
I know it doesn't have much to do with tilesets, but it does learn the basics of pixel art. I'd be glad to help out training pixelartists. So PM me if you want anything rated you've made, or create a topic in the art section. =)
I tried sending a PM about which programs might be used, or which ones you work with Yuki, but it was blocked I guess for whatever reason.

The most awkward typing with Fairy I can think of: Poison/Fairy. That would be a 'wtf' set up in mind mind ;P

Yeah, don't care for that one too much. Being mostly mono-fighting on PO now, I'm really looking forward to seeing Pancham and its (hopefully) evolutionary line. Pandas are my favorite animals as well, so I really like that one. Fennekin better not turn into Fire/Fighting. We have enough starters that do that already.
I honestly see Pancham evolving into like Fighting/Dark, I really do. Mainly as it's the 'naughty' pokemon, but you never know. Could end up being Fighting/Fairy o_-

I want to thank Wally, my Walrein for bashing 80% of his team away with surf. I will never forget your bravery young Walrus. </3
We shall have a moment of silence, and a feast after the funeral consisting of blubber nuggets.

Idk about anyone else, but for some reason I can imagine a Dark/Fairy type being some awkward goblin Pokemon o_-

Well my theory about Sylveon being a new type was correct at least. Just not 'Light' type as people claimed it would be called. Still curious as to whether there will be another Eeveelution released with it, if so Dragon type is the best bet.
Also, the types of Xerneas and Yveltal... would like to see those soon.
