Update:
Removed the items, and still was getting magikarp. Replaced the male gyrados, which is in the water 2 egg group and was lower level than the relicanth, with a seadra, which is in the water 1 egg group and was a higher level. Then I started getting Horsea.
It seems that there may be more exceptions to the "baby species = mommy species" rule than are talked about in the breeding guides?

I'm trying to breed a relicanth, and I have a male gyarados and a female relicanth. It should always pop out as a relicanth, right? Well, I gave the Gyarados a Power belt, or band or whatever, the one that is HP related, and I gave the relicanth the power item that relates to Defense. Gyarados has 31 IV's in HP, Relicanth has 31 IV's in defense so it just seemed like maybe it could work out like it did in gold and silver, so that they pass them on. Instead what I saw was that the the male gyarados and the female relicanth were giving birth to magikarp instead of relicanth!!! Can somebody explain why this was happening? I read about exceptions to the baby species = mother species rule, and this wasn't one of them.

I had pokemon red, and went with bulbasuar because I felt he was sorely under represented in the cover art for the games.

It should just be a series of battle towers, and be maybe something like an achievement you can earn, it at the very least doubles the content in each city

will this be gen 5 pokemon?
yes its the 5th Generation..i think its the last game of pokemon...in my opinion it should be the last game...FINAL END
I agree with this, it's definitely starting to get out of hand. It's too difficult to keep up with all the generations, you just can't get to know that many pokemon as deeply as people learn their first 150 or so

how about every time a player switches, the other player has the option to switch or stay simultaneously without a penalty regardless of their decision.
That way both trainers pick each match-up totally blind every time.

I would like a set up kind of like the one from FFtactics Advanced 2, where there are different floors, each floor has 6 trainers and a portal taking you to other floors, and there's sort of a random order you get sent through the floors depending on how many of the 6 trainers you beat on the way to the portal. Then at the end there are some drastically over powered CPU trainers.

The Truman Show and the eng of Lord of the Rings always seem to make me cry.
Also, I have coulrophobia ever since I watched It.
The truman Show is an incredible movie, I definitely agree. I would have to say that the Departed is my favorite movie. John Q was a very touching performance by Denzel and Inside Man is simply a heist that I would like to pull. (Enchanted is secretly one of my top movies, shhh...)

a marriage system? bad bad idea lol its just a game!!
I agree, terrible idea. I'm a May fan, but honestly the character development in the show is pretty much always lacking.

Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To say that for destruction ice Is also great And would suffice.
I picked Bulbasaur, and I don't know who robert frost would pick but he definitely not a grass type.

My favorite was 7. It would be 8, but the game should've ended with a showdown between the gardens, and they should've let it build a little bit more. The battle system was my favorite and they haven't really been able to recreate it.

i think that you should be able to ride pokemon like rapidash as a form of transportation
Pretty much this. Instead of bikes, you can ride a pokemon.
