My first Pokemon game was Blue and Yellow. I borrowed Blue for ages, then eventually went to buy a copy when Yellow just came out. And I even remember (for some reason) the place I got it from, the legendary Woolworths! The famous and long-running store in the UK has since closed due to the recession.

My development suggestion would be to include Pikachu as a starter option much like Pokemon Yellow and the cartoon anime. Secondly, for people like me who only dealt with the original era of Pokemon, having Pikachu would make it even more original.
Thanks, Adam

Hello everyone. I am popmanw a.k.a. Adam Wright.
I am 21 years old and live in England UK. I was a big Pokemon fan back in the days of 1998/2000 and miss the originals. I borrowed Pokemon Blue and brought Pokemon Yellow about a year later. I was also a fan of the first two series in the cartoon production.
I am a website technology degree student and am about to come to an end in my studies. On the side I also do a lot of video producing, editing and recording with a little bit of story writing. I aim to teach when I have completed my studies within the age range of 16 to 19 years. This will cover college diploma courses.
Pokemon Universe appealed to me due to its sheer size and commitment to the original Pokemon era. I had to look at the sites copyright to make sure it wasn't an official Nintendo creation, that is how good it looks. I donated approx £20 the other day and I cannot wait for a launch. I am slightly worried because I only know the first 151 Pokemon you see. I suppose it makes the adventure fresh if you discover new Pokemon though.
You are never to old to play Pokemon. The whole idea of collecting creatures that have different abilities and skills is an amazing element to video games. The online play and trading are other fantastic elements. All of this is not to dissimilar to PC games like World of Warcraft among others.
