Music: Just about anything that is rock, alternative rock, jazz. Some pop.

Movies: Dystopian science fiction like Metropolis, 1984, Bladerunner. Anything directed by Ridly Scott, Stanley Kubrick and Christopher Nolan, and most by Steven Spielburg and Peter Jackson.
