Something like this? I know this isn't the exact pose you were talking about, but it has to be going towards the viewer or at least looking at the viewer like most other game sprites. This sketch fierce enough though?

 I like the first pose, it looks pretty good to me. And as far as Silver's  suggestion, it's not bad either but it looks like someone threw a rock at him and he is pissed now. Well it's up to you to decide in the end, but I vote for picture #1.
