Team help (PU pokemon only)
« on: March 21, 2013, 06:39:02 PM »
Hi. I made this because I had my team all figured out...  Then i started realizing all the pokemon you guys have made are nice... So I need a lot of help making a team, that covers as much as possible. Others that need help with Pu pokemon should use this too. Please only discuss Pu pokemon please, I dont want false info fom a different game. I am still going through the pokemon, i got tired and stopped at Golem but i'm looking for a lead any ideas? So far its Butterfree, but i prefer spikes... i also like leads with more than one use like Crobat, he can fight and get rid of stat changes and attack. im searching for something similar to this set:

1 Haze/clear smog- a move to reset stats
2 Brave Bird/Close Combat/Double Edge/Wild Charge - any 110 and up all out attack preferably something with recoil it can be weaker as long as it recieves STAB or has a useful and hindering side effect.(sry guys i'm trying to make it as clear as i can. I'm not the smartest ya'know)
3 Spikes/Toxic Spikes/or personal healing or status curing move
4 wish/Taunt/ sleep attacks

Stats don't matter slow fast don't care... i do prefer slow and bulky anyone know an Amoongus lead move set that's similar to this

Example:

Crobat
1 Haze
2 Brave Bird
3 Roost
4 Taunt

Please post some suggestions

You might try Prankster Sableye (Recover, Will-O-Wisp, Taunt/Night Shade, Trick) as a lead, it's quite annoying.

I'm creating a ghost team at the moment, so sableye is a great suggestion. I will use it as my lead i will give it choice band for now untill i learn if the other choice items would be better. i have also created these two mono teams:

FLYING

Skarmory (M) @ Quick Claw
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Taunt
- Spikes
- Toxic
- Brave Bird

Salamence (M) @ Lum Berry
Trait: Moxie
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Fire Fang

Togekiss (M) @ Power Herb
Trait: Hustle
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Flamethrower
- ExtremeSpeed
- Drain Punch
- SolarBeam

Dodrio (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Rock Head
EVs: 255 Atk / 255 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Brave Bird
- Hi Jump Kick
- Toxic
- Quick Attack

Mandibuzz (F) @ Sitrus Berry
Trait: Overcoat
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Toxic
- Whirlwind

Pidgeot (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Filter
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Hurricane
- Roost
- Toxic
- Hidden Power [Grass]

FIGHTING

Hitmonchan (M) @ Liechi Berry
Trait: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swagger
- Ice Punch
- Drain Punch
- Agility

Build unexpected speed. swagger any ghost then switch. Question i've always had: Is sky uppercut boosted by iron fist... if no could this be made possible?

Gallade (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Steadfast
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Ice Punch
- Shadow Sneak

Bulk up and sweep or just come and R.K. ghost and psychic types.

Lucario (M) @ Air Balloon
Trait: Steadfast
EVs: 4 SAtk / 252 SDef / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Vacuum Wave
- Aura Sphere

I have always loved this set.

Heracross (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Megahorn
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

New to this but it works for other ppl so...

Poliwrath (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Scald
- Circle Throw
- Focus Punch
- Toxic

Watched a mono flying team be swept by this.

Scrafty (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Shed Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 8 Atk / 248 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Crunch
- Drain Punch
- Bulk Up
- Rest

Should i switch drain punch to hi jump kick?

ELECTRIC

Pachirisu (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Pickup
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Taunt
- Super Fang
- Thunderbolt
- Grass Knot

Electivire (M) @ Expert Belt
Trait: Vital Spirit
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Wild Charge
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
- Cross Chop

A ready sweeper no boost necessary, but my only physical attacker besides electrode.

Emolga (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Static
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunder
- Heat Wave
- Energy Ball
- Roost

thunder over thunderbolt because of rain teams. I'll have to deal with the accuracy loss, I will try it out and it may still be switched for thunderbolt. I figure somone esle can take out flyers this will switch on most of them.

Electrode @ Choice Band
Trait: Aftermath
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Explosion
- Sucker Punch
- Wild Charge
- Thunder Wave

Simply a R.K. Question: Doesn't this pokemon make zebstrika pointless?

Trait: Levitate
EVs: 128 HP / 252 SAtk / 128 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Pain Split
- Hidden Power (Fire)

I honestly have no idea what to put in the last move slot.

Lanturn (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Toxic
- Stockpile
- Thunderbolt
- Surf

Mainly to defeat ground or water types

DRAGON

Druddigon (M) @ Rocky Helmet
Trait: Rough Skin
EVs: 200 HP / 56 Def / 252 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Taunt

Trait: Multiscale
EVs: 56 Atk / 200 SAtk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Rock Smash
- ExtremeSpeed

I may have to lower def with rock smash so a R.K. can do it's job. It wouldnt allow me to use super power with his dreamworld ability and extreme speed.

Flygon (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- U-turn
- Stone Edge

Salamence (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Roost
- Fire Blast
- Earthquake
- Dragon Tail

Why oh why, was his def dropped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dragons now have no physical wall... Unless... Do you think i should switch salamence and garchomps roles?

Altaria (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Roost
- Heal Bell
- Power Swap
- Sing

Hopefully thick fat is reliable never used it.

I'm not sure if these teams will work and no-one is ever on the balance server to battle. People get active!

I am always on the balance server unless I am asleep. I was on this morning when you first got on but when to sleep like 10 mins later. I was working 3rd shift and will be working it for the next few days.
