Pokemon #178, Xatu, Psychic/Flying type, Mystic pokemon.
Intro: Xatu is a pokemon that is well-known for its ability to foresee the future. Xatu is a bipedal bird pokemon that conveys an aura of stateliness. It has a conical body with two wings folded across his chest, and a spherical, green head with narrowed eyes, a yellow, hooked beak, and two red ribbons coming from the back of his head. His body is decorated with a green cat-like figure that appears to be hiding behind Xatu’s wings, and has red cat-eyes. Xatu’s wings are white and have red and black stripes at the end. He has a mostly green body with two yellow stripes around his waist. Below his torso are two slim feet, that are red in the middle and white at the tips.
Habitat: Xatu may rarely be found amongst wild populations of Natu. These populations are usually drawn towards places with ancient ruins due to their fascination with said ruins.
Diet: Xatu eats berries, nuts and seeds. It is also able to drain energy from other living beings, but prefers not to use this ability.
Biology: Xatu is a highly intelligent pokemon that is able to learn to communicate with humans using flags. This ability has made it one of the few pokemon that is able to directly communicate with its trainer.
Xatu is able to foresee the future and can look into the past. It is usually silently mortified of the future when it senses impending darkness. It is said in certain regions, that Xatu views the future with its right eye and the past with its left one. As it is very interested in the past, Xatu tends to only gather at locations where a rich history has formed through the eons. Moreover, finding Xatu’s natural habitat in other locations is practically impossible.
Due to its ability to foresee the future, Xatu is very stoic and only moves when absolutely necessary to evade an attack.
Xatu rises slightly before sunrise and may take an entire day meditating in complete silence. When this happens, it’s usually busy clearing its mind from visions of possible dark futures.
Xatu uses its signature move Future Sight to predict an attack that will hit the opponent. No one knows where the attack actually comes from. It is most likely that it is caused by an external force, since KO’ing Xatu will not stop the attack.

Class B: Xatu is rarely found in the wild. Since their natural migration towards certain locations usually implies the presence of an archaeologically significant location, the centre for Archaeology has requested a restriction towards catching Xatu in historically important locations.
