Ike is actually pretty good. I used to think that the slowness threw him off, but i used him, and i thought that he was pretty good.

The new tier list is out. I feel bad for poor Ganondorf. I usually crank it up with him online too.

Screw the Tier System. If you are good enough, you should be able to beat anyone with anyone. I'll just use my last few games as an example (sorry unbreakable):

I beat Meta Knight with Ike.
I beat Zelda, and Shiek with Mario.
I beat Lucas With Ganondorf
I beat Pikachu with Ike.

I did other things like beat Zelda with Falco, but shutup thats irrelevent.

My point is, I won many games, while avoiding use of most items(by throwing most of them off the edge) with Characters that were usually at least one tier level lower than the character I beat. Tiers don't mean poop

The thrill in playing a game does not come from our chances of winning. It is the weight and pressure of losing that fuels our fascination. It is why people challenge, why they gamble and why they compete. The adrenaline that comes from defying defeat is what motivates us.

It really depends the level of the player. If a top notch Meta Knight player is playing a top notch Ganondorf player, chances are the Meta Knight will win. It's not set in stone, though. Everyone can get lucky.

I read down a little bit. They cast a vote on it. They VOTED.
Besides, it's not who's-better-than-who, it's who-has-an-advantage-over-who. In my experience, Lucas and Ness have the edge on Marth, Meta Knight has an advantage on Lucas and Ness, and Marth has an advantage over Meta Knight. None of them are good or bad, they are just better at fighting certain other characters.

...Besides, that thing has Ness in the middle, and Lucas at the bottom, and some of the best players I know use Ness and Lucas.

I honestly think that meta knight is considered the best because hes the easiest to use and who doesnt like consecutive attacks. I think that Ike is way better than to be in the 25th rank. Yoshi is pretty good too(better in melee and the original at least). This tier list is pretty jacked up and i think its based more on favorite characters rather than best.

I don't really agree with it either. The fact that Meta Knight is one of the easiest characters to use must have an effect on his placement, but then you have Snake who's one of the hardest characters to use right behind him.

Snake sucks, Diddy sucks, Dedede sucks, Olimar sucks. At least, to me. i have yet to see a good dedede or olimar user.

I beat meta knight with ganondorf all the time. Its funny.
