I'm all for violent games. I personally love them. However, it's pretty evident that they are a little desensitizing. I'm also an avid shooter (real guns), but I don't hunt or anything of the sort. Just love some target practice or a day to go nuts at the range.

I don't know if any of this releases stress or not, because I hardly notice any stress anyway in my life, but I find it definitely enjoyable.

I don't shoot too many real guns, but I play airsoft. I find it more fun to shoot my friends than targets.

I go hunting for whitetail deer, and I'm training my lab so that I can take her duck hunting. I have a .308 Savage for deer hunting.

once my dad shot a bunny rabbit with a shot gun. the thing that make this story funny is we were no more than 10 inches from it... it went flying!

As long as we're talking about shooting real life guns:
My brother is one of the best M16 sharpshooters in America :O His score on the last test he took was perfect. When he goes to A-school, he could easily become a helicopter sniper, which isn't easy when your target is the engine of a speedboat in freakishly choppy waters.

My brother works for big brother? Derp.

He's in the Coast Guard, which means his job is to resolve any threat that is in our waters. That means a lot of drug dealers getting busted.

The next CoD should be about the Coast Guard, in fact.

My uncle was a lifeguard.

I aspire to be him. I already have my advanced swimming certificate.

I do remember signing that. You swam five whole meters.

On topic:
Revolvers aren't as useful in CoD as they are in real life because the issue of jamming was conveniently left out. Revolvers almost never jam, because the rounds aren't spring-loaded like a traditional pistol's.
In fact, that's also why the DE wasn't complete crap in modern warfare.

interesting. I remember my brother saying something like that. I didn't know that. But in support of Clip loading guns, they hold more bullets and can be reloaded faster.

Your post count is a midget. There, I said it.

Revolver cartridges hold six bullets. Most pistols hold about eight. Two bullets will really only make a difference if both parties have god awful aim, because unlike assault rifles, pistols are precision weapons. it shouldn't take a good marksman more than six shots to down his target, and if you need to take more than one person out at once, an automatic weapon would be a better choice than any revolver or pistol.

There were no pros for pistols in here..
