I woke up in the infermery, apparently Kain had landed that attack... i had to get better with a gun. I went to the firing range and started shooting. Every shot I fired missed by a mile. I threw the gun and stormed out of the room. F*ck guns, I didn't need one.

Makarov, 1911. Makarov, 1911. Makarov...

The 1911 had higher accuracy, yet Stefan's mind kept drifting back to the Makarov.
What had that opponent's name been? Richthofen, after the Red Baron. Ten matches, five losses. Richthofen had sure been a terror in the ring. Not only that, but he could shoot just about anything with the Makarov, even if the bullet isn't in one piece by the time it reached its target.
Standing up, Stefan returned to the armory and picked up the Makarov.

The guy had got up and walked away.  Crimson got up and went to the armory to get get some new shurikens to replace the ones he lost.  After that he went to the mess hall where he found out the guys name was Stefan.

43...44...45...45 dead in total...theres only enough men left for a tie...
"Stay here, I'm ending this" Calx says with a smile, he gets up, and runs for the nearest cave, as he enters, he appears back in the infermary. The game was over.
The thrill in playing a game does not come from our chances of winning. It is the weight and pressure of losing that fuels our fascination. It is why people challenge, why they gamble and why they compete. The adrenaline that comes from defying defeat is what motivates us.

Deccers was lost in thought as he rowed.
How the hell does that guy know me? I've been careful. Nobody here knows me. And how about that offer? I could put together a decent squad... No, then I'd be no better than them. And I've been out of the army for at least a year. I'm bound to be rusty.
Something was niggling him, something at the back of his mind.

The game ended. Good.
Stefan found Astrid in a bed near Calx.
"Well, you must be getting better already. Survived the whole round, eh?"
"Actually... someone else helped me after you left. He had a lot of guns."
"Really? Must be a lot of nice people around here, which is strange when you think about it. Now come on, you're gonna learn how to shoot."
Stefan handed Astrid the 1911 and led her to the shooting range.

Crimson went to the range to test out his new shurikens.  As he entered he saw Rex approach Stefan, who was witha girl.  Huh, I never thought I'd see a girl here.

"Well... look at that. Rex, asking for help. Hold on a second, while I get Astrid here situated. In the meantime, find me the gun you plan on using. That'll effect how you hold it. A lot."
Stefan turned to Astrid, showing her the basic grip on the pistol, along with how to use the sights.

Deccers finished, sweat pouring from every pore. He trudged his way to the shower block, legs feeling like blocks of iron. He pulled his shirt off, exposing the coin dangling around his neck. He lifted it to his lips and kissed it, the same way he had every day since his CO was killed. Hot water enveloped his body, loosening his muscles and relaxing him.
When he was done he headed back to the living area.

Rex came back from the armory. What was in his hand made Stefan burst out laughing. A Desert Eagle?
"Rex, Desert Eagles aren't good for anything but scaring teenagers off your lawn. You breathe on one of those wrong and they jam up. Even if it doesn't, good luck hitting anything from more than ten feet away."
