Calx occasionally lets out a low chuckle every now and again as he walks.

Well that was entertaining. How did you do it?
Why the hell would I tell you?
The thrill in playing a game does not come from our chances of winning. It is the weight and pressure of losing that fuels our fascination. It is why people challenge, why they gamble and why they compete. The adrenaline that comes from defying defeat is what motivates us.

Aside from the occasional giggle coming from Calx, they traveled more or less in silence.
"So... Can you tell me how you suddenly became immune to bullets?"

"Not immune, but I certainly cannot be hit by one. Sadly, I cannot do such a trick with anything really bigger than that. If i could, you would no longer be with me. Remember that you touched my shoulder."

Calx spots a mountain in the distance between the trees, and adjusts his direction to meet up with it.

A man came and woke Kain up. Kain was still in his bloodstained clothes that he always slept in. He didn't change, or grab his weapons. He had barely slept. He followed the man to Rex' room, but didn't even realize where he was until the door shut behind the man.
"Why am I here?"

"Well isn't that convenient. So, aside from home, do I get any details on where we're going?"
Stefan noted that he'd forgotten all his ammo at Rex's base. Should they have an encounter, he was running on a single cartridge.

Calx points to the mountain.
"We need to know where we are Modus, then we can get going..."

Some kid touched Deccers' shoulder as he was sleeping. Surprised, he pulled his knife from his thigh, and held it to the kid's wrist. He smiled, the boy reminded him of his younger self.
'Try not to catch me unawares, eh?'
He pulled himself out of bed and strolled over to Rex's office.
Time to lay down some ground rules.
He rehearsed his words in his head over and over again, the more aggressive he was, the more likely he was to get what he wanted.
'I want 25 of your best men, I want 26 assault rifles and as much ammunition as we can fire, I want to have the final say on everything we do and I want the GODDAMN NAMES OF EVERY MAN RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEATH OF MY TEAM MEMBERS'
His hands were gripped in tight fists of rage, as much as he tried, he couldn't begin to like this guy.

"Can she climb too? I'm fine with going by myself..." He mumbles, nodding in the girl's direction.

Stefan looked in Astrid's direction. She was staring at the tip of the mountain, pale again.
"I-I-.... I think I'll just wait down here. On the ground."
Stefan narrowly avoided smiling. Astrid was afraid of heights. He looked back to Calx.
"Looks like the mountain's a no-go for the two of us, then. You'll be back?"

"...I just want to know where we are..." He rolls his head back into its foreward position without moving his eyes, giving his shoulder with the sniper on it a shrug.
"I suggest you find something that hides you from the sky...a cave or a lean-to...Who knows what's looking for you..."

He begins to walk again, beginning his acent up the mountain

"You got it, cheif."
Seeing a small crevice in the Mountain, Stefan led Astrid to cover.

Deccers stormed into my office and made some request.
First you'll get your men, guns and ammo. As for the other one, Look around you. My stupid ass second in command declared war and all of the men here have been killing your friends. But I put a stop to that. Seth had on of my friends killed, so I had him killed. Any thing else? My men are waiting for you, go pick you 25.

They won't be there when you get back
Says you
Yes, says me

With nothing but his toughts, Calx sits on a ledge for a short break, about 200 meters above ground level, and at least another 600 to go.
