Yes, Conquest is great, and I love it. I have very few complaints. Dragon Quest IX is one of the better Dragon Quests in my opinion. Anyone play Final Fantasy XIII and/or XIII-2? If so what did you think? I know there's a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to opinions, but I thought they were pretty good, although I do think that the series has certainly had better.

I haven't gotten the chance to try Final Fantasy. I want to, but I haven't really looked around yet.

I'm playing XIII-2 as I type. I've played through XIII, part of XII, X, III, II, I, and a couple others. I personally love the series, and I believe a XIII part 3 is set to come out this fall.

FF XIII is great its different how i normally played FF games before but its nice i'm not really far in it D: have cool characters in the game to. Errr i think my friend has XIII-2 but my Cousin has FF XIII so yeah im gonna have to ask my friend if he has it

I loved the combat system. I just felt that travel was too linear and cutscenes appeared far too often. I did enjoy it, though, and I agree, it is very different from the standard FF formula, but in a good way. I just started XIII-2 (I think I got it for around $15-20 at gamestop) and so far I like it even more than XIII.

yeah the cutscenes did happen to often the new battle fomat i got use to i know what does what and i like the story so far theres only a few things i can't do yet and the traveling was kind of bad
and i'm gonna be searching for a job this summer so i hope i can get it soon till then ._.

Well that'll give you time to try to beat XIII. The only other gripe I had was that you couldn't fully customize who was in your party until Chapter 11 or so, and some of the boss battles were far more difficult than the rest of the game.

EDIT: We kind of touched on this, but what is everyone else currently playing? Like I said, I'm playing Oblivion (and Skyrim every now and then), Mass Effect 3, and Final Fantasy XIII-2. I've also just finished God of War Ascension (man, that game was brutal XD), and I want to get back into Kingdom Hearts 3D, which for whatever reason I never beat. Additionally, I was just replaying Kingdom Hearts II a couple of weeks ago.

On the Final Fantasy note, I recommend you play Final Fantasy 2, 3 and 8. The US 2 and 3 which is the Japanese 4 and 5. FF 3 is my favorite one. Theres sooo many characters to play and so much story. Lets not forget the great Kefka is in FF3 as well. I own about 20 FF games and have played and beat each one of them. Love it. xD
