If you had to choose 6 pokémon for your team in real life, to make your life easier (no legendaries)? I would pick these 6:

dragonite: flying over long distances/obstacles on the road

Lapras: travelling over water

arcanine: for riding instead of walking (yeah, I"m really lazy) and my substitute for matches to make my campfire.

umbreon: my light in dark areas (dark caves/ at night and such)

Raichu: my elektricity supply (who needs spare batteries with one of these)

Lucario: using telepathy to communicate with my pokémon (this always comes in handy)

They look pretty awesome too, but I chose the pokémon depending on their purpose. With multiple pokémon that could do the job, I chose the one I like best. Which one would you choose and why?

Lucario-Same, and he's been my favorite Pokemon for life.

Jolteon-Favorite eeveelousion. Quick, amazing, and a good partner.

Grovyle-Always been favorite starter, always will be.

Umbreon-A dark type, shadowy, and a great partner.

Crobat-He is just awesome, and I need one to fly me around of course.

Garchomp-He is just awesome, dragon type aswell. And could dig me out of a sticky situation.

Also all of them have good movesets, and everything like that.
Friend DarkerSou1 on Xbox Live, tell me who you is tho.

Well, my friends and I have already determined that my dog is a houndour. So I guess I would have to keep her.
If we were to go off what I have at home, pet wise, itd be a bunch of water and flying types and a couple of lizard looking ones.

If I got to pick.....
I'd prolly say
Lapras: I've always loved lapras, perfect for a fun moveset and great for ferrying across water. They can also understand human speech. :]
Dragonair: because dragonite has never made any sense to me. Great pokemon over all though
My Houndour: This is my baby. Wouldn't trade her for the world.
Scrafty: I've fallen in love with this pokemon. It has a weird weakness against itself, but otherwise I love the typing and movepool. And I've always wanted to get back into martial arts. It could give me the motivation! :]
Clefable/Wigglytuff: I always love the surprises these two pokemon can deliver! They're both incredibly versatile. I would prefer a Clefable, but would be ok with a Wigglytuff.
I'm not too sure about my last one though. :/ Nothing I really LOVE to put in there. It'd prolly be a flying type or something that would enable easy transport.

If we were going off what is available in real life in our region, itd be totally different, but id sooooo want an alligator. xD

You have a well thought out Real Life Pokémon Team Ponge :)

-Dragoite - I not only love him, but he can fly me around the world too.

-Bulbasaur - Same as Annafu, although my dog doesn't have a bulb on his back.

-Cloyster - I prefer boats, but this guy would be surprisingly useful.

-Dodrio - He is strong and fast. Perfect for riding. (Who needs a warhorse?)

-Haunter - He would be so much fun to have. (Time to create a haunted house, see if you can exorcise this guy!)

-Nidoking - Favorite Pokémon... Who needs a bodyguard with one of these guys around?
It's ghost dammit, GHOST!

Thanks Genbor. I don't think others have realistic expectations of their pokémon (flying on a crobat or honchcrow, poor things :'( )

It's the games' fault... Where you can teach Fly to a Pidgey and it flies you around. :)

Jolteon
Glaceon
Flareon
Leafeon
^^ - all for Similar Reasons; because I feel best with these.

as for the other 2...

Ninetales - Because its very Majestic
Pidgeot - Flying everywhere...
By loving so many, I have touched their lives and helped them rebirth as well. To be strong is to instill strength in another.
