my idea is it is post based. if you have 200 posts you get to go to one of the places, 500 another, 1000 yet another, and for the mega poster 1500 you get a special pokemon!

Yeah but only like, five would get the pokemon, how about people with post 1000 and up get to go somewhere special? And 500 gets to go somewhere less special but still, same for 200.

I wouldn't base it off of posts since they aren't too accurate. There could be someone who has 500 posts that are very detailed walls of text, and another person could have the 1500 post while he kept on posting things like "Lol". See how it's a bit unfair?

I like this idea. I like Bings idea about having a pokemart and pokecenter in it too.  Though I don't agree with being given a special pokemon, whether it's because you have a ton of posts here on the forum (and that could be because you spam alot) or whether you've been here a while.  Just because you have been here longer it doesn't mean you should be given an advantage.

At least with my different  starter ideas some of us would be at a disadvantage, me with Ralts, doesn't get many attacking moves at te start.

I like the idea of a possible different starter, It would add some excitement to the beginning of the game, because everyone won't have the same starters.

I believe there already will be a number of starters to choose from, so I wouldn't worry too much about spicing it up a little.

BurningHouse: Dude! I'll give you my Gardevior for that Alakazam.
Frenchfry: Can't.
BurningHouse: Why not?
Frenchfry: It's my starter. Bound to this account.
BurningHouse: Oh, yeah, you're one of those guys. Wait- you had an Abra as your only pokemon? How did you-
Frenchfry: It wasn't easy.

I'll be here all day, people.

Good point, maybe it should just be and area where people can get away from all of the chaos of the game and have a nice conversation with other players.

Agree. That way, it's not having an advantage on anyone else.

i agree with bing, but still the other way might work, i also said make another list, like the people that get to chose from that list all vote on what goes on the list, and you would still be able to chose the normal you just don't get those right then, as in you have to catch them not get them as your starter, i don't know if I'm making sense or not but still it could work.

Alright. This sums it up. So far.

Retro Trainers.

We get mainly 3 things.

A choose of starters-We can choose from basically Pokemon PU has on the game at the time, obviously no legends and no raries (regi's etc) and they are not OP. (With some balance team help) and they are level 5 obviously. Normal level 5 moves. And others can still choose from all starters.

Mansion-(Names: Retro Mansion, Mansion, IDK.) Anyway, it is huge, and mebbe on a island by itself. mebbe not. Anyway, there are all kinds of rooms. I.E Club Room, Museum Room, list of V.I.Ps room, . and others can get in with at least 10 or so of the members permission. but they still can't get into certain rooms, those require a V.I.P Key.

Keys-We would obviously need keys. These would be bound to our account, as Fry said with starters.
Mansion Key/Retro Key/Amazing Key of Aweshum: Gets you into the mansion.
V.I.P Key-You have to have joined with-in a certain time limit, no posts, because posts are just numbers. Geewhiz. anyway gets you to the next floor, V.I.P floor, or something.
Hut Key/n00b key!1!11: (see below): Hut key gets you into a joke room for the people who joined right before the deadline, it just has an annoying Pikachu and one broken chair. Or something to that effect.

Hut: (Yeah, you get the point).

Room Ideas:
Lounge Room: TV, couches, food. Ya know.
List of V.I.Ps room: Gives a list of V.I.P.S, or mebbe this could just be a sign outside of the mansion. Gives info also, the V.I.P's can write some of the info themselves.
Museum Room: Shows ancient things of PU like a playable Pre-beta Fake. The one with zubats and Magikarps.

Something like this. And mebbe we also get access to events one day early, so we can rub in in noobs faces. xD

But if we get that stuff, then nothing else, no advantages really. Just aweshum stuff.
