Shuckle didn't get follow me. I think that's the move that draws attacks to it. Though power split is quite nice.

Rhyperior didn't get sand power, even though it gets stab on two out of three attack types SP raises.

Alakazam has been said to not have changed enough in an ever changing series, which has hurt it as one of the best sweepers out there.

Rock has probably been one of the most cheated types in general because they can't perform one of their main functions. They have high defense, but are weak against ground and fighting, which hit the highest number of types super effectively. Not to mention that it's tied with grass for the highest number of weaknesses. Though it is one of the best attack types out there as well.

I'm sure there are pokemon that people can think of that have nice stats and abilities, but not the movepools to back them up, or vice versa.

Solrock and Lunatone are immune to ground attacks, resistant to fire attacks, get stab super effective attacks on ice types, and are neutral against fighting while being able to pound them super effectively. They seem to be just the types to take down the most common attack types out there, but have poor stats so they're almost never used.

Camerupt got cheated. Low speed and defensive stats is never a good combination, and his signature move eruption's attack power depends on his health being high. Also his attack stats aren't fantastic either.

Sharpedo needed more speed to make up for it's poor health and almost nonexistant defenses. Then they gave it rough skin, which isn't very useful when he's only going to be one hit away from death.

I feel like Samurott got cheated out of a part fighting typing.

Luxray is kind of slow, but its other stats aren't piss poor. His physical attack is a good 120. then again, speed is supposed to be the main stat for electric types. It's not a slow bulky element.

-Scizor didn't get anything in gen 5 while many other pokemon obtained new and useful moves and abilities.

-Gardivoir got cheated because it didn't get Quiver Dance (its a pokemon known for gracefully dancing).

-Swoobat got cheated big time. It has the amazing unaware ability that would allow it to counter boosting Volcarona and Moxie Herracross but its stats are all horrible, excpet for its speed.

I never paid much attention to Swoobat. I think I captured one once, but wasn't too impressed with its stats. Poor Gardevoir does kind of get overshadowed, doesn't she?

Pokes who got cheated imo...

Jinx: Magmar, Electabuzz and Rhydon got evolutions on gen 4 it's now gen 5 and she is still missing hers.

Paras: he's not the only mushroom pokemon anymore.

Dunsparce: since gen 2 he's a less than average poke with crappy stats, he's screaming for an evolution.

Flareon: 130 base attack and no flare blitz? way to cripple a poke gamefreak!

Clefable...gamefreak: Hey! let's give this amazing ability (Magic Guard) to a bunch of other pokes, clefable it's not being used anyways!. Me: >.<'

Pretty much any pokemon that hasn't gotten and evolution or devolution since generation 1 or 2. Not that every fan minds that.

I never noticed Flareon never got flare blitz. I totally agree he got cheated there.

It's kind of a waste to have a sweet ability only on a meh pokemon.

You will regret that >.>

Dunsparce: the land snake pokemon...

He got speed boost this gen, plus he has aqua jet, what else do you want?

I regret nothing! *raises flame shield*

I'd like Sharpedo to have higher base speed. Granted the new ability rocks, and aqua jet is good. They did make an effort to improve it.

Shedinja all the way! Why not concentrate its stats to increase speed and attack/sp. attack. What does the only pokemon with wonder guard and 1hp need defenses for. Oh, and shedinja is vulnerable to 5 types. -_- Horrible type combination there.

When you have an ability that makes you immune to any attack that's not super effective, a horrible type combination is needed for balance. I agree that it's a waste to put anything in defense, though. This isn't one of those games where a high enough defense makes lesser attacks do no damage.

Overkill much? xD
I don't think Sharpedo needs anymore speed. I already have a hard time dealing with it D:

Just any pokemon that's doubly weak to rocks after stealth rocks was introduced.

Actually I'd rather it get the higher base speed than speed boost, though I do appreciate a water type getting that ability. I guess speed boost makes up for it, but you need to have focus sash and prtect to get any speed boosts off.
