Digital or Hard copy?
« on: October 22, 2011, 03:27:22 AM »
Well with Netflix and other online movie servies taking over buying movies is getting less popular. I still buy movies because i love actually being able to hold my product in my hand that is also why i like blu ray because of sexy case  :P and the superior image of course, so what do you guys like? would you rather have movies downloaded on to a device or have the dvd?

I like both, only because having the disc can sometimes contain bonus features you can't get with digital, but digital is more convenient.

As much as I love being able to show off a collection, I choose digital over hard copy if I can just because it saves physical space.
The thrill in playing a game does not come from our chances of winning. It is the weight and pressure of losing that fuels our fascination. It is why people challenge, why they gamble and why they compete. The adrenaline that comes from defying defeat is what motivates us.

I agree with Silver. While I will most certainly buy the Hard Copy for my favorite movies/shows/etc. I have them in Digital as well, simply because it doesn't require physical space other than the device you play it with. The same thing goes for books.
It's ghost dammit, GHOST!

Although i agree with you silver for me a digital copy feels no different then some pirated movie and that's a big -1 for me because ... i do pirate movies alot  :-X but every once in a while there is that movie that is just amazing that i have to have on Blu Ray. So far i have a little over 20 movies on Blu Ray
