[RP] Old School Pokemon RP [Time:AfterNoon /Weather:Sunny]

As the nidoran bursted out of the pokeball I cursed under my breathe. I decided not to give up.

me-Lets try this again.

I threw another pokeball the nidoran was sucked into the pokeball and after a few seconds which felt like hours it clicked. I picked up the pokeball and I pressed the middle. Nidoran was still asleep. I slowly shake its shoulder.

me-Wake up nidoran.

It opened its eyes and stood up.

me-Come on let's get going.

It happily trotted behind me.

Timmy

Once he saw onyx down for the count he got extremely excited but the dust wasn't completely cleared yet....

"Wear is my Nidoran....."

When the dust finally was able to be seen through. There was Nidoran trying his hardest to get up from the collision...

"C'mon you can do it Nidoran!!"

"Nidoooo....."

As it collapsed...Feeling a bit sadness I call back Nidoran.

"You did your best buddy I promise we will get it next time!"

A tear going down his face from not winning yet again.....Thinking to himself..

"I wonder if I am even made out for this stuff....."

About to walk out of the gym....

Team Rocket

Meanwhile at MT. Moon.......

The team rocket grunts are hard at work trying to find moonstones in the mountain....1 member at each entrance guarding it....Not letting people pass through while the "Project" is underway....

Inside they set up a small machine they can heal their pokemon at when they get into battles with the zubat and geodudes and such and several of the have caught a geodude or such...

(another words out of the 5 grunts....there is 2 guarding each entrance while the other 3 are inside finding moonstones.....Currently having 7 stones...)

Brock

Brock recalls Onix and sees the kid walking away.

Hey kid, wait!

Brock pulls a case from behind his back and removes a badge then walks over too the kid.

As league rules dictate if a battle between a gym leader and a challenger ends in a draw the gym leader gets to decide if the challenger deserves the badge. Its been a while since i've enjoyeed a battle like that and for that I give you the boulder badge.

Brock hands the kid the badge and walks away.

My eyes light up as I sit there with the BoulderBadge in my hand.....

"No way......Alright I got a BoulderBadge!!!!!!" (Ash style pose)

Excited again and pumped for my next challenge I quickly run to the PokeCenter and get nurse joy to heal my Pokemon....

Heading out the door I still see that man selling TM's there...

"Now that I think about it can I get double team also...."

The man hands him the TM and takes the money and then handing Timmy a super potion for purchasing from him...

Man: thank you little one! I am almost out of potions....

Team Rocket


On the path to Cerulean City....Jessie and James are coming up with a plan to stop the "Twerp" in his tracks in order to swipe his seel.....

Jessie: Ahah! Nothing like a giant hole to capture twerps with!!!!

James: I know! We have done this hundreds of times but it never fails to catch one!

Meowth: Stop yer yappin and keep digging!!!!!

In a whiny voice....

James: Ewoohooo I think I have splinterrsss......

Where to go next, I pull out my town map.

me-It looks like we sould head towards pewter city gym, there's nothing to do here of course.

Me, poliwag and nidoran walk back into town and I enter the pokemart. I buy a few potions and other items.

me-Ok, lets head out to Viridian Forest now.

We all run towards the forest and as we enter the dark canopy of trees a small orange worm-like pokemon approaches. It has the cutest eyes.

me-Would you like to join me on my travels?

It nods.

me-well to bad!

Poliwag uses hypnosis and we quickly run away. I take out one of the items I bought, "repel" I spray it all over my body and casually walk through the forest. A small boy approaches me.

boy-It's battle time!

I quickly checked the repel bottle. "only for use of pokemon" Damn it!

me-Listen, I don't have time.

His pidgey was already out.

me-Fine, nidoran you ready.

It stands in front of me.

me-Start off with tail whip then tackle!

She cutely wags her tail and the pidgey becomes curious and lowers its defense. Nidoran then quickly tackles the pidgey flies and hits the ground hard.

boy-Pidgey get up and use tackle!.

The pidgey struggles up and charges.

me-Don't dodge instead use growl!

She growls and the pidgey feels slightly intimidated. It hits nidoran with not as much intended power. The pidgey gets a purplish tinge.

me-Nice, poison point, finish this with tackle!

She slams the pidgey and it falls on the ground unconsious.

me-Sorry about that.

We continue through the forest.

Timmy

"Alright guys let go to Route 3 and work our way to Cerulean I have plans to make my team bigger there!"

Setting off down towards Route 3 looking around at the scenery with a new found sense on things...

"This is the start to us becoming champion one day!!!"
"I wonder where Warren went...."

Warren

Warren was so lost in his thought that he didn't even realize he had reached the entrace of Mt. Moon until he bumped into one of the rocks that filled the cave. He looked around noticed a Zubat charging at him! He reached for a poke-ball on instinct and threw  it, calling out Pikachu!

Pikachu use thunder shock!

Pikachu gave a defiant 'pi' and let out a stream of electricity that shocked both Warren and the Zubat. Pikachu gave a wry smile as the Zubat fell, then turned to Warren looking very proud that it had shocked him.

Stubborn aren't ya?

Pikachu gave a 'pi' and a smile before Warren returned it to its poke-ball and continued walking.

Hearing the racket going on near the entrance the Grunt goes and sees a guy with a pikachu before he recalled it...

Grunt 1: Hey you....you aren't allowed in this mountain as of right now! Be gone you pest! If not I will have to beat you down!

Warren

Warrens face was wiped completely of emotion as he saw the grunt and his eyes blazed with fire! He slowly reached and placed all three of his poke-balls between his fingers and threw them, summoning Seel, Mankey, and Pikachu.

Try me.

His voice was hollow and he was sure it would creep the man out.

[lubbies]

The smell of repel was starting to wear off and the wild pokemon were getting closer and closer to me. I saw the light ahead and we started to pick up pace. just before we exited a pikachu blocked our path.

me-Get outta the way.

The pikachu got into a stance.

me-ok, poliwag hypnosis, nidoran tackle.

The pikachu fell asleep and was slammed hard. It still slept.

me-Poliwag water gun, nidoran tackle!

Both attacks landed and the pikachu was sprawled across the floor, eyes closed and out cold. We stepped past it and out of the forest.

The grunt just smiles....

Grunt 1: Alright if that is how you want it....GO Paras....Go Geodude!

Grunt 1: Paras poison powder! Fill the air with it! Geodude use magnitude!!!!

Paras not been very effected by it keeps throwing out the poisonpowder!

A wild JigglyPuff appears....

"What the.....alright! Go beedrill!" "Use fury attack!"

Beedrill flying over to the Jigglypuff launching a barrage of attacks onto her...hitting her several times...

Jigglypuff retaliates with pound slamming into my Beedrill....

"Rock smash now!" Super effective....

The jigglepuff falls down and passes out...

Beedrill started glowing with focus...

"Ah great you learned focus energy too!"

Warren

Seel, use icy wind to stop the poison! Mankey, use Hone claws and then fucus energy followed by karate chop on Geodude! Pikachu, thunder shock on Paras!

Seel shot several blast of icy wind blowing away the poison while Mankey seemed to lengthen his claws and glow a strange red. All three of the pokemon were badly shaken by the magnitude but held on. Mankey charged at the Geodude and swung his fist, now very powerful with all the power ups. Pikachu charged up a bolt of lightning and shot at Paras and Seel fired off an icy wind at both Paras and Geodude.

The thundershock not doing much damage to paras....

Grunt 1: Paras jump in the way of mankey use Protect! Geodude use Rock throw on the Pikachu in the back!

Right when Geodude threw the Rock the Icy wind reached them hitting both of them.....Knocking out the paras and geodude...

Warren

The rock slammed into Pikachu knocking him into a wall where he slowly struggled back to his feet. Warren knew that Pikachu was low on health and pulled out a potionn, heling him. He then returned all three of them to their poke-balls whispering,

You guys did great.

Then he clipped them to his belt and continued walking.

Karrick sets off for the pewter gym and sees Timmy just walking towards route 3

"He must have got the badge then, if both him and warren got the badge it cant be that hard"

As he walks into the gym a young trainer jumps out and says

"C'mon this is the third time today, anyway battle me before Brock, Go geodude!"

"Right then, go Mankey!"
"Now use focus energy then karate chop"

"Geodude use rock throw while its distracted quickly"

The geodude is in such a rush with the rocks that only one manages to hit

"Mankey shrug it off now karate chop"

The super effective powered up karate chop knocks geodude out

"Aw...why cant i ever win but ok you can fight Brock now go through"
