Oh and Vastitas: latin translations are Devastation, Laying waste, Waste, Desolation, Pillage, Ravaging, Desert, Vastness, Emptiness, and Immensity.

Actually, I might be taking Japanese over the summer for my language credits. That way, I'm learning a language I want to learn, and I get credit to take it.

Actually, someone told me today that memorizing the Japanese language is practically impossible unless you learn a little Chinese first. Anyone else have an opinion on that?

I don't think so. I mean, I think it would be a gradual thing. I WANT to take japanese, but NOOOOOO, western only offers Spanish and French! Grrrrr. So I'm learning what I can on my own. I think it's manageable. I mean, I've already picked up *some* basics...

At least your schools offer languages you'll actually want to take. My school has Spanish (Okay, that's fine.), Chinese (Umm...okay?) and Sing Language (Okay, WHAT?!).

See, I'd rather take Latin. Or Japanese. Or even sign language. But Why do I have to take spanish or French? I have personal reasons for hating Spanish and never wanting to take it EVER AGAIN, and I'm not at ALL interested in learning French.

Me gusta Spanish, but no me gusta French. Although, I'm very proud of my accent and fluency.
So glad to be back in my NORMAL time zone.
Gonna be taking Latin, even if I have to teach myself. Can't be an Anatomist, ahd have NO clue what's going on if someone tells you to examine the latissimus dorsi

if i learn Japaneses
i would know English Sign Language a bit of french (i think i forgot how to speak french )
and Japaneses

If i learn latin i will know latin a little bit of greek a little bit if hungarian and a little bit of a few other languages.

I leanred Latin fluently, then i would speak two languages fluently, haha

The only problem is, Latin is sort of a dead language, You don't hear people speaking it to each other, save for rare occasions. My guess is that it has the italian accent
