[Merged] Your Favorite Pokémon!

im getting three pokemon but ill only put my partner

The best pokemon from Blue version is clearly Alakazam for a couple reasons:
1) He can learn Recover and demolish opponents by recovering when he gets damaged
2) Psychic and Psybeam are very powerful psychic attacks
3) Psychic doesn't have too many weaknesses and has many strengths

Hopefully in this game I get Alakazam because he is the man and I also want a Luxray as my electric type because in my platinum game Luxray dominated

yeah Alakazam is my favorite so if you would boost his stats, that would be sweeeeet

Butterfree is my favorite though because in yellow version when i couldnt use Pikachu to take down Onix/Geodude, Butterfree was always their to use confusion and take it down

Will there be all Pokemon in the game, including the new 4th generation ones?
     -on a side note, Garchomp is an awesome Pokemon.

If he is in the game, why would no one catch it. The goal is to make the best team possible, you got to go with Darwinism if you want to be the best. Otherwise everyones lineups would be filled with Weedles and Caterpies

 legendaries most likely will not be catchable, this has already been discussed.

Okay thanks for clearing that up I was just posting assuming legendaries were catchable. Do you know if any starters are catchable?? (as in Charizard, Infernape, or Bulbasaur)

i like swampert becuase it only has one weakness. also i taught mine ice beam so i could kill grass types easily. basicly it could beat every thing except ice, phycic, dark, andwater in one hit.



if we're going by appearence definetly shiny rayquaza and red garydos. and shiny charizard (can you tell i like dragons?).

I'm playing Pokemon Blue (Can't stand the new games, and my G/S/C can't save any more), and I currently have Ivysaur, Nidorina, Pikachu, Pidgey

I'm aiming for... Venusaur, Raichu, Pidgeot, Sandslash, Nidoqueen, Lapras(?)
I haven't thought about it really. I also love Marowak... Snorlax.... Tauros...
If I had access to Gen II I'd totally have like... Dunsparce <3

But yeah, I don't really care about moves and such because I'mplaying it casually this time (I often try to make good competitive teams, but with the current metagame, and my intolerance of the newer gens... yeahh XD )

Like, I don't... really... hate the new games, but I much prefer playing the old ones. I can't wait for translations of HG and SS so I can play those again <3

I don't like the stylistic change in the Pokemon, and chances are nostalgia has something to do with my love for the old games. Playing them on the old gameboy when I was 7 was just the most amazing thing ever.

yeah i like some of the old pokemon and the nostalgia to
 types of generations games are different.
