quest alerts
« on: January 22, 2010, 10:43:35 PM »
hey ;D. i was wandering if you could add a quest alert or pda system, like a messenger or something that will run up to you and alert you of upcoming quests. it seems to difficult to just find (some) quests so whynot have them delivered to you. cheers :D

i do not know if a pda system or anything like that will be added, or how it will function if it is. but writing a messenger of some sort into a quest is feasible.

but if you will carry around a device that alerts you of quests as they become available? i don't know! i think this could be good, but i would also want quests that you had to find, i don't want all the quests to be notified to trainers like that

Yes, finding the quests, however remote they may be, will encourage you to explore the game thoroughly.

Perhaps, on your minimap there will be small symbols showing you the nearest quest you can take, and not directly telling you what sort of quest it's about.
No one can go back and change a bad beginning; but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.
If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it. If it cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

Currently playing Pokemon XY/ORAS/Shuffle and Clash of Clans and testing out PokemonRevolutionOnline and Dragonmon Hunter....
Also, forum notification emails are not getting in my inbox... again...

How about a list of quest names but without the location. You would then be required to make eductaed guesses about where to go start the quest. Or you could just have it displaying completed quests and on going quests.

You'll have a quest list, but it will only show the quests you have found. We won't hand you the quests. However, surely it won't be too long before most quests will be put on our wiki (by you guys). So you can get information from there.
