Declan's Observations and Tips for the Native Country
- Don't order anything other than a small, I mean seriously, even with a medium coke, I'd chuck half of it away.
- Carry loads of 1 dollar bills, after all, you have to tip the cabbie, the man who takes your coat, the man who turns the tap on, the waiters, the cleaners, and pretty much anyone you ask for directions.
- Bring felt tips to colour in different denomination notes, they all look the same
- Talk slowly and pronounce your words like you would for children. No jokes, some woman thought I meant a bagel when I asked for a glass of water
- Do you know what's not gangster? Wearing earphones normally. Do you what is? Dangling your earphones above your ears so everbody in the subway car can hear your music.
- Join a gym. After all, on Tuesday you get as much pizza as you can eat!
