Guys, what do you do when your mother insists that the entire family hates her, and no matter what your response is, it's always the wrong one? This has been going on for like a year now, and I'm starting to get sick of her little pre-madonna act. It's essentially ruined my summer, and I have a feeling it's going to ruin my school performance come thursday.

Bah, I'll just visit my middle school after school and talk to my old English teacher. He knows everything.

Well, I may have been misinterpreting what she was hinting towards. What she actually said was:
"Everybody hates me!"
"You just all want me dead!"
Whenever she leaves the house, "Yeah, I bet you just can't wait to have me out of your hair."
And specifically to my dad:
"Tell you what. I'll go file the divorce papers, and then everyone will be better off without me."
Then she left, and sent him a text message with a picture of the gazeebo where they got married and a paragraph that said, "This is where we were when we made a huge mistake and ruined lives."

Errr, you're in a tricky position mate.
I'm no psychiatrist, but by the sounds of it, it her that wants out.
Ask her why she feels that way, ask for specifics.
Hopefully this will help you understand her point of view.
Other than that I have no ideas. Good Luck.

I hate when stuff like this happens. I know that in your case, it's way more serious than whatever has happened to me, but I guess I somewhat get how you feel. I think the best thing you can do right now is to wait and see if it gets any more serious (if possible) Or if it cools down. It might just be something that is going on outside of the house that is severely stressing her out, she might actually believe what she says, or it could be what Declan said. Declan's case being the most serious, because then you would have to find a way to keep her around, because I'm assuming you want to.
After all, I'm only a stupid 12 year old who doesn't know anything (Or so people may think), so I probably wouldn't follow my advice..
