[RP]A Random Pokemon RP~! o_0 <Noon; Cloudy>

Out of breath I found myself in front of a sinister cavern. Sparks and charges of electricity were flying in all directions. Despite the obvious danger of the cave, there was something strangely entising about the cave.

Me and Nosepass nodded at each other before entering the cave. Upon entering we gasped, unable to hide our suprise. The sheer size of the cavern were enough to send an eerie chill down ones spine.

GLIIIGARRRRR

A shreek came echoing throughout the cave. Could it be? Jerry's gligar?! No.. Theres no mistaking it!

I began to rush towards where the cry had come from.

Martha step into the gym and battled a few people with her Servine and Panpour, getting them up a few levels. She then noticed a yellow-haired woman.

I would like a gym battle.

Te woman couldn't hearher because she was listening to music. Martha got closer to her and tapped her on the sholder, making her take her headphones off.

I would like a battle, please. I am Martha.

Elesa. DJ!

Martha walked over to her position  as the DJ played a record of "His World."

Emolga.

Servine.

[Jerry]

As Jerry and Ruby came to Mistralton City, they spotted the huge airplanes on the runway on their left. "Those large flying engines might have served to carry provisions and aid to people in need in the past..." thought Jerry. "Or maybe those were actually bombers..." His trail of though was suddenly cut short by some arguments over, at the airport.

- This plane might be old, but I'm ready to cut my hand to prove you that it can withstand the distance! I've used it many times before and it never failed me!
- I can understand that you love your plane a lot, but don't forget that our priority is to be able to deliver the food to the needy!
- And how many times should I tell you that this plane is fine!? I'm tired of you, if I could, you'd already be fired right now. Take the fuel and use it in your planes if you want I no more care!

The middle aged man seemed quite sad to see how the young lady reacted, but he nonetheless did what she exactly said. Taking a long rubber tube that he first inserted in the petrol reservoir of the big 'bird', he transfered the precious liquid to another plane. Noticing the two children, he apologised.

- Oh, I haven't notice you were around... Skyla just loves her plane too much and that one in particular has been of great help in the past... but now, I believe it's time for it to retire. We just can't afford losing valuable goods that need to be transported around the world...
- I'm sure it did...
- Maybe, if you challenged her, she'll get in a better mood? She's the Gym Leader of the city and by your looks, you seem to be quite adept trainers.

Emolga use Volt Switch.

Servine was hit and the first Emolga went back in its pokeball. She sent out another Emolga.

Volt Switch.

Vine Whip.

Emolga came flying towards Servine, but her Vine Whip caught the squirel in its rotation air trap technique, slapping it to faint.

Unusual. Emolga, iron tail.

Meet it with tackle!

The two contacted with emolga having a critical hit to overpower Servine, Knocking it back. Servine got up and glowed with the tail turning completely green.

- Oh! So she is the Gym Leader? Hm... another badge for me won't be bad. I'll take a look around the town in the meanwhile

As he said, Jerry and Ruby went around a little. They discovered a little family specialised in move teaching, and a rather bizarre man who specialised in move forgetting. After that, there weren't much interesting thing in the city, so Jerry decided to head for the Gym. The first two trainers sent out Tranquill and Ducklett. Jerry sent out Ducklett and Zebstrika to face them. With a swift Spark, the opponent's Ducklett was knocked out. Tranquil Air Slashed Ducklett, which retaliated with Bubblebeam. The next pokemon of the opponent was Woobat. While Zebstrika took care of it, Ducklett and Tranquill Air Slashed each other. With this 2 on 1, Tranquill couldn't get an attack landed as Zebstrika stroke first. The second Tranquil managed to avoid being hit using Detect, but couldn't resist the electrical attacks of Zebstrika.

Jerry went back to the Pokecentre to switch pokemon, namely Gligar for Archen. The latter pokemon sure would get some decent training in this Gym.

Return, Servine.*chuckles* Panpour, your turn.

Cocky, aren't we? Volt Switch!

Martha smiles as it rains and her head starts to glow again. Panpour takes the hit decently hard but not enough for a 2HKO. Elesa send out her Zebstrika.

Not going to mak e a move? Nitro Charge!

Panpour, use Acrobatics to perform the hit-and-run technique.

As Zebstrika came flying straight at Panpour with a weakened move, he jumped over the zebra and kicked it in the back of the head.

Back into the Gym, the next trainers had a triple battle with Jerry. The pokemon sent out were Ducklett, Unfezant and Swoobat for the trainers and Archen, Krokorok and Ducklett for Jerry. The pokemon getting the first move was Unfezant with Air Slash on Krookodile, Swoobat then hit Archen with Heart Stamp. Krokorok moved on to Swoobat to deliver a Crunch, Archen hit Unfezant with Ancient Power. Both Duckletts finally hit each other with Aerial Ace.

Next turn, Unfezant used Detect, protecting itself from the attack of Archen. Swoobat this time used Air Cutter on Krokorok. With another Crunch, Swoobat's defense fell. The Ducklett of Jerry hit the foe's Ducklett with Air Slash, while the latter attacked Krokorok with Bubblebeam for a supe effective hit.

Immediately after, Unfezant stroke a final blow to Krokorok, fainting it. Swoobat lunged onto Archen with Heart Stamp and Ducklett used Bubblebeam again but on Archen. Jerry's Ducklett jumped in front of the bubbles and with Air Slash, it negated the attack. Archen, on its side, used Pluck on Swoobat, fainting it.

Next on was Monferno for Jerry and Sigilyph for the trainers. With a Mach Punch, Unfezant was outsped and fainted. Sigilyph raised the foes' defenses with Reflect while Archen used Ancient Power on Ducklett. Jerry's Ducklett stroke first and fainted the other pokemon with Air Slash. The last turn featured Sigilyph using Synchronoise on Monferno, Monferno using Flame Wheel, followed by Archen with Ancient Power and Ducklett with Bubblebeam for the move knocking it out.

Before getting to the Gym Leader, Jerry used a couple of Super Potions on his pokemon.

As Jerry approached the Gym Leader, he couldn't help thinking back about the earlier conversation he and Ruby overheard. Maybe this wasn't the right time to battle, after all, she was not at all in a good mood...

When Skyla saw them, she still seem frustrated, but she tried to hide it. Silently, she stepped onto the battle ground and the referee announced the start of the battle.

- Swoobat, go!
- Excadrill, you're up!

Both pokemon materialised on the field.

- Swoobat, use Acrobatics!
- Excadrill, dodge and retaliate with Rock Slide!

Swoobat seemed to be slower than other Swoobats Jerry had seen... Excadrill had no problem into dodging and with one hit, Swoobat was down.

- Swoobat, return. Swanna go! Use Aerial Ace!
- Excadrill, use Rock Slide again!

Swanna could go through the rocks being thrown at it but suddenly, it got hit and was down.

- Swanna, get up and use Bubblebeam!
- Use Dig to avoid being hit!
- Swanna, use Aqua Ring!
- Now get under Swanna and use Slash!

Excadrill dug up from under Swanna and sent it flying to the wall.

- Aerial Ace!
- Use Rock Slide quick!

And before Swanna could get up, it had fainted.

- Go Unfezant! Use your Razor Wind!
- Excadrill use that opporunity to use Horn Drill!

With a one-hit KO, Unfezant fainted. Skyla stood there bewildered. She didn't say anything but she was on the verge of tears.

- Is something wrong Skyla?
- Oh just leave me alone! she cried running away, now tears flowing down her cheeks.

Jerry was there not knowing what to do... he had won his match against the Gym Leader but he wasn't given his well earned badge...

The Zebstrika "timbured" on it's side.

Martha-Aqua tail.

Panpour slammed it's tail on the ground, covering  the whole battle area. when the move ended, Zebstrika fainted.

Elesa- What happened?

Martha- STAB. Torrent. Rain. Critical.

Elesa turned her music off and sent out her last Emolga.

Elesa-Thunder!

martha-Scald!

The moves colidded with each other. Thew effect is both pokemon become paralyzed. Panpour fainted afterwards.

Martha-Dieno.

Elesa-Thunder.

Emolga is paralyzed. It cant move.

Martha-Dark Pulse.

Emolga was hit, not done. Dieno then blasted with speed at it, making a crunching sound upon contact, fainting it.

Elesa- Here.

Martha caught the badge and left for the pokemon center.

[Jerry]

As Jerry stood there, not knowing at all what to do, the middle aged man from before walked up to him.

- It seems that she was more affected than she is... it's not the way she usually battles, it must be because of our dispute. I'm sorry again for that.
- Oh... but now, how can I get my badge? I have to move on and there are more badges that I need to collect!
- I see... Wait here, I'll talk to her.

As he did so, he went into the room in which Skyla went and stayed there quite a long while. Meanwhile, the referee came towards Jerry too.

- I've never saw her like that... I mean, I've seen her temper and all, but this time, it seems that she couldn't manage it and somehow, it greatly affected the way she leads her pokemon into battle. I hope that she will get better...
- It's getting late too and they've been there for a while... do you perhaps know about the plane that Skyla cares so much about?
- So that was why she's in that state? I can understand better now... You see, she was very fond of flying pokemon and planes since her early childhood. She was good too at riding flying pokemon, but also help his father with his planes. Ah, it was so good to see her and her pokemon in perfect harmony; it was like they understood each other so well! She was very good with her planes too; and one day, her father made this very plane for her; she was getting a plane for herself! Her father frequently sent goods to a far away region where there often is famine and droughts. One day, there was a hailstorm like never seen before, but nonethless Skyla and her father flew. The gusts were terrific... and then suddenly, the left engine on the plane's wing got a break-down and they fell  somewhere between here and her destination. The engine didn't have enough fuel, the cold had it frozen. We looked for them as soon as we noticed something was wrong, but in vain.
- Woah, that's crazy!
- You bet and yet, you haven't heard the next part! We had almost given up hope, when a month later that she reappeared at the faraway village. She told us that her dad died on the crash and that during the time she was alone, she worked hard on repairing the plane with the help of her pokemon. The plane was her only shelter during the cold days and nights. She had to use some of the goods that she carried to keep her and her pokemon alive. Despite what she endured, she hung on and finally got the plane fixed after a month. She cleared the field of deciduous trees so that the plane could lift off with the help of her pokemon. Her plane is the last thing that she has of her father, and because of that, it's the most precious thing to her eyes.

As he ended, Skyla appeared with red, teary eyes.

- I'm very sorry for what happened, I wasn't really at the top of my abilities and I would like to get another opportunity to battle you and your pokemon if you accept.
- I understand, and I'll be more than happy to battle you again.
- You will? Oh thank you! I don't think that any of us is fit for another battle, so let's have it tomorrow morning. Are you okay with that?
- Sure! See you tomorrow then.

And so, Jerry and Ruby left Skyla in the direction of the pokemon centre where Jerry healed his pokemon.

[Mr. Fox]

much to my surprise a pikachu came out of the grass.
Hey little guy, who is your trainer? Are you lost?
PIKACHU!!!!!!
A kid in a red hat came stumbling out of the grass yelling for his pokemon.
Over here kid.
The kid stumbled over a log and landed face first in the dirt. Zero went over and sniffed him, he sneezed and ran away. I couldn't help but laugh as the kid pulled himself out of the mud. The kid had the most pathetic look on his face, then he saw me...
HEY! QUIT LAUGHING AT ME! I CHALLENGE YOU TO A POKEMON BATTLE! GET READY TO LOSE!
Fine, but you don't have to yell, 2vs2. Spike, Zero lets go.
PIKACHU, CHARIZARD LETS KILL THEM!

That morning, Jerry and Ruby were awaken by the sounds the wind was doing outside. The sun was barely up and the sky still had some trace of dark blue. Walking towards the window, Jerry fell down with surprise after something swept right outside of the window. Getting up, he approached the window carefully this time and spotted Skyla training with her Tranquill. Suddenly, Swanna appeared from above the pokemon centre and attacked something like a dummy. With an Air Slash, the dummy was uprooted and fell metres away from its original position. Skyla seemed happy with her pokemon and was petting them.

After dressing up, Jerry went into the cafetariat to have breakfast with Ruby. They discussed a little about pokemon and battles and contests...
- Skyla has been training hard since this morning... and it's a windy day. It seems like her pokemon will have a good advantage over my pokemon. I wonder how the battle will go.
- I wish you good luck, I'm sure you'll win! said Ruby. I have to do some training so I'll meet up with you later on. See ya later then!

Getting outside after breakfast, Jerry couldn't see Skyla. Ruby then parted with him while Jerry got into the Gym, where Skyla still couldn't be found. It was then that the referee who was here the previous day noticed him.
- Good morning! If you're looking for Skyla, she's probably in her plane. She often goes there to feed her pokemon after her trainings.
- Thank you very much!

Jerry then went towards the big plane that was the subject of so much dispute the day before to find the door open. Peeking inside, he indeed saw Skyla feeding her pokemon. Right then, she turned towards him.
- Oh! There you are! Do please come in and have your pokemon have some food too! I made them myself and my pokemon love it!
- I thank you very much.

Sending out his pokemon, Jerry went to sit near to Skyla watching his pokemon tasting the food Skyla made.
- It seems my pokemon love it too! They already had a meal earlier but they are eating again with an astounding apetite!
- Haha! It took me a long time to find the right ingredients... So... are you ready for a rematch? My pokemon are ready today!
- I noticed. You sure do train hard! I was surprised to see your Tranquill and Swanna this morning.
- Oh, so you saw them. Well, I guess I'll have to forget about the surprise effect,[/color] she said laughing.
- I'm sure it'll be a great match. I'm looking forward for it.

[Mr. Fox]

Zero's form flicked and then started to multiply, at the same time Spike used charged a Aura Sphere. Just as spike launched an attack a barrier went around the kid's pokemen.

Sorry about that sir. My brother is a little impulsive. A voice reminding me of a spring morning said.
I turned to see who had intruded in the battle. A young lady about the same age as me was standing with a jacket pulled around her shoulders. The boy ran up to her and gave her a hug.
-Sister! I was in the middle of a battle! Why did you stop me?! I would have won!!!
-I know you would have Terry, but you can't just battle every one you see. Now go tell this fine young man you are sorry. We need to find shelter from this storm. Go! Make it snappy!

The boy dropped his head and walked up to me and said he was sorry in the most fake manner i had ever heard.

-No problem kid. Call me Rex. If you need to i can...

As i said my sentence a branch of a tree fell and almost hit the kid. The only thing that stopped it was the same barrier that had ended the battle. I looked at his sister and saw that she was a Psychic. Terry ran out from under the branch and grabbed his sister. She then let the branch fall and looked exaused.

-If you guys need to you can stay with me and my pokemen. I grabbed the rest of my pokeballs and let out the remainder of my pokes. I nodded my head and they scattered. They are getting what we will need to get through the night.

The girl looked at me and asked how long it took to train my pokemen to do that.
-I have never seen pokemon listen to their trainer that well, or know what they mean with out talking. How?
-I can talk with out talking...
Her eyes got huge and she replied.
-You are... Psychic?
-Yeah, my father taught me how to talk to pokemon with my "heart" as he said. But I am Rex, whats you name?
She looked at me with suspicion. My name is Sam... How long you been in the woods here?
-Just long enough to meet your brother.
As I said that Zero and Spike returned with huge piles of wood and they began to fason them into a makeshift lean-to. Punk soon came with his own pile of wood, he set in on the ground and Zero used Flamethrower on it.
-Unless you have somewhere to go... my other pokemen should be here with food soon...
Terry tried to sit next to me, i could tell he was fascinated by my control over my pokemon, but Sam grabbed and sat them both on the far side of the fire... Zero, Spike and Punk took their respecitve guard spots and fell asleep. All I could do was wait for the food to arrive.

Marta- Awsome, Cerberus. You learned Crunch!

The Dieno jumped hapilly along with Servine and Panpour. As they exited the pokemon center to the next route, the mark on marta's head started to glow again. but this time, Skyline didn't sync, telling him that training has begun for all pokemon against her, since she doesn't die when the mark glows. all of her pokemon came out automatically, making skyline explain.

(I'm doing this as a temp. grinding session, though I don't think I'm far behind. hopefully i'm not too far behind when I get back.)

[Mr. Fox]

I woke up the next morning and saw that Sam and Terry were gone. They must have been really quiet not to wake up my Pokemon... I stretched and walked out of my shelter. I felt the sun on my face and the wind in my hair. I called for my Pokemon and got ready to challenge Driftveil city. In the back of my mind I thought I would see Sam and Terry soon enough and I didn't have to worry... Zero ran up to me and had a hat in his mouth.

-Where did you get that?
Zero pointed back where he came from and darted off.
I threw my jacket on and chased after him. He led me much deeper into the woods and then right to a cliff. He pointed at a log at the end and sneezed.
-What do you mean this smells like Terry?
Zero sneezed again.
I walked onto the log and looked down... I couldn't see any thing, I grabbed Manibuzz's pokeball and let her out. I climbed on her back and she took off. I steered her through the cannon, aiming at below the log. I saw Sam and Terry climbing down the cliff.
-Manibuzz bring me closer to them.
She did as told and brougt me right up to them.
-You guys need help getting down this cliff?
-No we are fine! Why are you following us any ways?
-Zero found your brothers hat and led me here. I just wanted to see what was going on. So you guys need help?

Sam looked at my hand and almost didn't grab it. She grabbed it and climbed onto Manibuzz. I let out Punk and told him to make sure Terry got up safe. Manibuzz went strait up and then started towards the cliff edge.
-Where you guys going?
-Driftveil.
-So am I you can come with me and my pokemon.
-...fine...
Manibuzz landed and we got her back. Terry was petting Zero and Zero seemed to be sneezing up a storm but was complety happy.
-Lets go...
Sam stormed off leaving me to wonder what her problem was.
