Quote's Team:

1.) Gallade
2.) Charizard
3.) Glaceon
4.) Dusknoir
5.) Absol
6.) Starmie

Blue's Team
1.) Blastoise
2.) Alakazam
3.) Nedoking
4.) Umbreon
5.) Scissor
6.) Arcanine

If legendaries could be use, which they can't, I'd use Mew. Only Mew. Kyogre is cool, and one of my favorites, but mew is god tier.

Mew might be a long-legged mac daddy, but Mewtwo has an overall higher stat average... Though I think a normal mew actually has a higher speed stat than a shiny/pokerus Mewtwo.

Shiny gives Pokemon Higher stats?

Yes. You really think the odds of getting a shiny are one in four thousand just because some of them look cooler?

Shinies only had better stats in generation 2. In generation 3 and 4, shininess is determined by the trainers id and the secret id of a pokemon. Shiny pokemon are just normal pokemon with a different coloration, and the odds of getting a shiny pokemon are 8 in 65,536, not 1 in four thousand.

My brain:

A majority of the shinies aren't even good. I mean, come on... Green zubat?

And what about a shiny with 31 IV in each of its stats, that's even rarer.

Shiny : 1/8192
31 IV in one stat : 1/31
31 IV in all stats (1/31)^6 = 1/887503681

Shiny + 31 IV in all stats = 1/8192 * 1/887503681 = 1/7270430154752

:P

Probably why you never see shiny pokemon in competitive battling.

Yes they did... they invented something named 'cheats' :(

So you're saying I should use a cheat code to glue five hundred 50-megaton warheads togethor, then I should drop it in a desert and take a picture, just so I can describe my reaction to that poke-math up there?

No, I'm saying that cheats bypass the large number and make it directly 1.
