When I was little my big brother had a HUGE deck. It was like 2 inches stacked up.
I never understood the game, but that didn't stop him from trying to teach me...
Now that I know how to play, I don't know what happened to his cards... >.>!
Its cool how there is such variety in the cards! :3!

I started playing the TCG game on PlayR, and then stopped soon after. It just got a little boring..
But that's a video game, I'm sure if I had someone to play for real, It would be more fun.

I've got some cards... made a deck with water pokemon in them. The only friend who's got pokemon cards always asks me to toss the coin again when it's in my favour... >.>, or draws more than one card when it's my turn, when I'm thinking of what to do.

I've been collecting Pokémon cards ever since the first base set came out, when I was in elementary school. Around 1999 or something. But then I stopped a systematic buying of cards by around 2004. Lately it's just been trading and getting some stuff off eBay. Also I have never, ever, played Pokémon cards.

Man, I miss those times. It was such a thrill, opening up a booster pack, not knowing what could come off. Now it's like, meh. New sets coming out all the time. And stuff.

Yes, I don't know if the 'delta species' and the 'ex' series are really necessary... I didn't even know that Lv X meant Lv 100 :-[

Lol, I only assume that you are more experienced with TCG than your brother, because some of the new cards have some special abilities I didn't know about when I got my first pokemon cards some years back.

I never actually played the tcg. I just collected the cards. I think i was missing 6 of the original 151 last time i checked; which was like a year ago.
The thrill in playing a game does not come from our chances of winning. It is the weight and pressure of losing that fuels our fascination. It is why people challenge, why they gamble and why they compete. The adrenaline that comes from defying defeat is what motivates us.

Yeah thats what I did then a long time ago I was stupid enough to trade all my cards and my emerald version (the best Pokemon game ever) to my friend in a Heatran/Regigigas Tin for one copy of the original Crystal.

When I was little I actually didn't know what they were for, I had like hundreds of shinies not knowing what they were.
