My advice on killing time, play chess with the computer. Constantly making a good move to kill the queen.

Lol. Chess sure is fun, but I find math more useful and as much as fun =P

Ok, see you later! :)

And I'm not sure I'm the only one enjoying both ;)

Well, there are some parts of math that I don't quite like.  Matrices are one part, complex numbers are another part.

What do you exactly do in Key Skills?

I've not really had much problem with maths. It's normally just silly mistakes that I make.

We are given a certian scenario that requires the use of maths, such as:

Design a new computer room for a high school, you have a budget of ££££££. The room must include air conditioning, seating for 30 people and space for 25 computers, 3 radiators or under floor heating, and a desk for the teacher. (each item has a cost, and we can not go over budget, we must save as much money as we can, and we also have to figure out the costs of carpeting the room, and its on of those dodgey L-shaped rooms.)

Constantly making those kind of mistakes.

Those mistakes are the most frustrating :(

But this problem sounds interesting... some maximum/minimum problems... about multiple variables XD

Yep, like i said, no correct answers, we just have to show working out, and alot of it. If i still had the problem i would send you the files so you can see it in full detail.

It's okay, I don't want you to have more work just because I wanted to know what sorts of problems you have :D

Thing is we were given all year to do it, but i kinda done it in around 6 weeks time. 1 hour a day and 1 day a week, so 6 hours i spent on it, and i never was so bored. And thats the 2nd level, theres 3 levels of key skills.

A year? Sounds a little too long... but then, you might use the spare time for other things as well...
