Anyway, I don't have the device (don't even know its name nor how it actually works. I only have one in my emulator, VBA, and I only have to click in the menu, and click on AR and insert the code.

the older ones have a slot where you can put the game you want to hack into, but that can cause the game to freeze. so the new one you have to remove it and put the game in the game slot. To answer your question you put it in the game slot. Ahhh, finally a subject I am an expert in!!

Um... okay, in the old versions (ie NDS and NDSL), you put the AR into slot-2 (GBA slot).

But I understand that NDSi and later have only one game slot and one MiniSD slot (memory card), no slot like a GBA slot. So... you remove the game and put the AR!? Then how you play the game with AR?

Also, on yet older consoles... there is only 1 game slot for the GBA/GB game. Where does the cheat device go then? 0.o

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HG94Qduj2Gw <==== Click this to learn. In this video they are using an "older" AR, with the "new" ones you put the AR into your DS, you turn it on. when it has "booted" the AR's main screen you can remove the AR from you DS and put in the game. The game will have the code you selected in effect until you turn off your DS. Hope that helps!
