What I understood was:
You sent Frostlass, and only told the description of a combined attack. (you didn't attack because you later said that you didn't use any move)
I used Flare Rock towards Frostlass.
You used Ice beam.
The ice beam cooled down the rocks flying towards Frostlass, and the rocks, now cooled down are flying towards Frostlass.
No one can go back and change a bad beginning; but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.
If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it. If it cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

Ok, well what happened was the combo attack was from when Manectric shot stars into the air. It's like Future Sight, so even if the pokemon fainted, the attack still hits.

Ice Beam cooled down the rocks, transforming it from a fire type attack, to a ground type attack.

*correction: to a rock type attack since it was formed using a rock type attack and a fire type attack.

Ok, fine. Use Illusion!
Confusion+Ice Beam
Illusion:
Type:Same as other move.
Power:Same as other move.
Accuracy:--

Details:Chooses an attack and makes it appear to come from all directions. It confuses the pokemon, stunning it from moving.

Don't worry Hippowdon. Use Curse once again!

Well, yes. But depending on what move you combine it with, it also gains the abilities of the move confuse ray was combined with.

Use ice beam at that cloud!

1 turn!

THE FROZEN CLOUD FALLS ON HIPPOWDON!!

Froslass is immobilized from laughter.

There's no 'T' in Froslass.
