Lol, just buy a ton of revives and hyper potions, i beat Cynthia on my first try. Oh, one strategy i used was sending my straptor a bit while fighting garchomp. My empoleon knows ice beam so it KO'd it instintaly. But garchomp was faster so it used earthquake. Earthquake instantly KOd my empoleon. So i would revive straptor, let intimidate lower its attack a few times, then earthquake wouldnt instantly KO my empoleon anymore any i KOd it with ice beam. Then beating the rest was easy, critical hit her spiritomb, staraptor use brave bird on roserade, milotic would instantly faint with luxray's thunder, her lucario was slower than mine so i just used aura shpere and KO, and togekiss i kod with gardevoir's thunderbolt and calm mind.

Empoleon has longer/Stronger Legs
By loving so many, I have touched their lives and helped them rebirth as well. To be strong is to instill strength in another.

The main things that really annoy me is that pokemon are limited to 4 moves... and you can only carry 6... you should begin with a limit of say 3 and be able to upgrade the bag at specific points in the game up to a total of 8 ish... Also stats shouldn't be as limited. You should be able to keep a shinx and give it a stat boost item so that it has the stats of a luxio at lv15 and a luxray when it evolves again later on...  :-\

I also hate the fact that shinys dont have any stat boosts anymore... I reckon they should have increased stats relying on the characteristic  of the pokemon. i know characteristic already slightly improves a stat but with shinies it should improve a stat alot more...

The only thing i've ever hated about pokemon was that they never let you take a pokemon out of its pokeball unless you were battling. It took them over a DECADE!! to realize it was a simple math equation:

Pokemon+Always inside pokeball=Suckish!

Pokemon-Always inside pokeball=More appeal to younger ages!

Think about it. If nintendo had made pokemon walk around with you in previous games, this would have made large appeal to the younger kids with DS's. Seriously, every kid who lives around where I live has at LEAST a DS lite. Some have DSi's! Of pokemon had walked around before, these kids would have bought those games.

they did back in Yellow Version, but it wasnt that great =\

the lack of available battles, or the fact that some pokemon need to be trade to evolve. In the first games, i didnt have a link cable, so trade evolutions were useless for me. when i got it, my friends were happy, but the stupid thing kept disconnecting. >:(

Actually, it was the other way round, that is, if the pokemon had some particular stats, then it'll be shiny.
No one can go back and change a bad beginning; but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.
If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it. If it cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

There was always SOMETHING important that you needed the naitional dex for, and up intil D/P/Pt, you needed both games to get it.

I don't like how the new 5th gen pokemon don't have that original style of pokemon. They completely changed it.

And this is the only pokemon game where I didn't like the water starter's final evolution. I don't hate it, but it doesn't look awesome like the other ones. I like the Grass starter the best for this game, I think.

I like the first evolution of the water starter... and that's it about those nine pokemon which makes the starters. The rest... not that much.
