Movie Type Quest

I was thinking of maybe having quest that somewhat relate to the movies. and the reward would be to get a sighting(not obtain) a legendary. for example "Path of the Legendary Dogs" and maybe you get to battle one (not catch) and get good exp or just be able to battle it =p

well, it would help if you came up with a quest the PU team would read it and give it a better thought. The more details the better ;]

Will there be a definite story line or just quest until one is made?

There will be some sort of storyline, but the game will not be linear, meaning that you won't always have to do X before being able to do Y, for example. Quests here will be as far as possible, optional. One might run through the game without doing a single quest, while another might go doing some, if not all quests.
No one can go back and change a bad beginning; but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.
If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it. If it cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

Currently playing Pokemon XY/ORAS/Shuffle and Clash of Clans and testing out PokemonRevolutionOnline and Dragonmon Hunter....

Just to clarify, every single quest will be optional.
There is a general storyline, however not every quest will be obviously linked to the main plot.
Some may not have any link what so ever and will follow their own storyline.

With legendaries, Mr_Dark has announced it will be a unique way to encounter them.
So, I'd wait until we find out what exactly we can do with legendaries first before suggesting something like this.

I do like the idea though.

no offense, but what is the idea here? just a quest where you do something that leads to an encounter with a legendary? if that's the case, please elaborate on what the objectives would be leading up to the encounter; as it is, you just described every potential quest line involving legendaries.

Spirit42 has a very strong point here. These things are often parts of major quests, usually as the climax itself. You might want to look into story writing before suggesting something as major as this.
