Most people playing the Pokemon games grow attatched to their Pokemon as if they were actually catching and training them irl. Because of this, a lot of people, or at least myself, like to bring the Pokemon they've been with throughout the game into the most important battle.

In red, my team was put togethor by my older brother. I couldn't even read yet.
Red: Venasuar, Hitmonlee, Dragonite, Scyther, Ditto (lol), and Pigeotto.
Silver, Gold, Pikachu, and Blue: I can't remember >.<
Ruby: Grovyle, Kadabra, Groudon, Aggron, Garydos, and some random level eight pokemon I forgot to dispose of.
Pearl: I migrated every legendary of me and my friend combined in Ruby, and ended up with: Mew, Mewtwo, Raquayza, Groudon, Palkia, and another Mewtwo that has Pokerus.

Bet no one here has played that much Emerald! Oh and if we were suppposed to do one per game sorry. Suprising there was like a three year period where I played no Pokemon, then my friend Dillan (AKA chaosdestroyer on here, used to be kinda active, probably sucked me back in abetween Silver and Emerald... or Rube/Saffire and Emerald). This wasn't in order BTW.

I restarted my Emerald a lot. Migrate to Pearl, restart, migrate to Pearl, restart. It was a pattern. I can't remember all the different teams though. I get them mixed up.
